In my defense, I say that it's too hard to make something good as those fellas Bill and Charles used to make...

The 'full of possibilities' thing is from the last comic strip of Calvin and Hobbes, and a little stretch of 'what if' Calvin personality met with Snoopy... (that's why the transmogrifier is there)

Maybe this will not make any sense for you people, so let's talk about the new year...
Each new year is full of possibilities, this one isn't going to be different, if something didn't happen the way you wanted, you can simply change the way you think or act, now you can make it be different.
