What are Archanes?
Archanes are a species of mythical creatures with flowers/gem properties. Their kind are known for their magical powers and great skill in battle.
They posses no concept of sexuality, and will love whomever they feel attracted to. (all genders have the ability to reproduce)

- Can both of their arms be black or a different color?
No, only the arms must be black if you choose that feature for your design and not any other color other than black. The feet's cannot be black, they must be the same skin color of your Archane.
- Can the horns be any color or shape (ex: antlers, ram, etc)?
Yes, the horns can be of any shape, size, and form. They can also be of any color that goes with the color palette of your Archane.
What sort of flower can I use?
You may use any flower that exists in our world, so no fantasy or made up flora, and they all must be the same color; so do not put one as white and then the rest red.

Lets say a certain flower has different colours, like hibiscus and bougainvilleas, can an archanes have multiple colours of a same flower?

if you mean have each individual flower be a different color then no, the color of flower that you choose corresponding to the species must be all the same

Beforehand I really want to apologize for the many questions, I just am really interested and in love with Archane species and wanna now everything I can! So please forgive the barge of questions! You don't have to answer any of them if you don't want to either! Really sorry to bother you with such a long list
-Can they crossbreed with other species? If so what kind of cons and pros would come from a cross-species pairing?
-Would they be able to have a child?
-What kind of lifestyle a cross breed couple have? Would the mate reside with the Archane or would the Archane live in their mate's environment?
-What kind of genes would the child have? Would there be mutations or defects?
- Do children have fully developed gems and flowers at birth or do they bloom and form in adulthood?
-Are there different sub-types of Archanes and their magical abilities according to location or environment? like desert class and magic, jungle class and magic, ocean class, swamp class, cave class,like how different species of plants reside in different terrains and have different adaptations to help them live in that terrain?
-Do they have special mating rituals or requirements?
- Are they more solitary beings or are they super social with one another?
- Are they territorial or friendly to outsiders?
-What kind of behavior traits do they display?
-What kind off relationships can they form?
-Will there be future species reference sheets for Archane lore?

it's alright!! thank you being interest in the species ^^
the species is still in lore and story process but i might be able to answer some of your questions
1. They can crossbreed but it's really rare for them to do it, only with humanoid species tho so no furries, or species more on the monster/animal side if that makes sense
some cons would be: they can only breed with the same gender in their own species, so with other species would be normal breeding
2. Yes they can still have a child with other species; it's difficult but not impossible (but same gender breeding stays between species, unless the the other species can same gender breed with whoever )
3. The lifestyle of cross breed couples would be a normal one? Tho is rare for Archanes to breed or be with another species is not unheard of since not all of them spend their lives in the forest, some move out or travel
4. Genes for the child would have to depend on how the other species looks like, tho the most dominant genes for the Archanes are their horns,crystals, and flowers/plants. Tho the child would be born with weaker powers that archane originally possess, unless the other species has powers of it's own
5. No there's no sub-type of archanes, the birth place of most of them is in the underground forests since it's their natural habitat, their home is super massive tho since it's been extending and growing since ancient times so there's different zones and districts, but it's all in the same environment just with a couple of big lakes, etc.
6. No; the trait classes have nothing to do with their magical powers, it all depends on the individual Archane and how much control or amount they have over it.
7. MM i guess for mating rituals would be marriage? They only do that if they feel a deep connection with their partners tho.
8. mmm they have similar behavior like humans do. But for the most part their behavior traits would be that by nature they're a very secretive and mysterious species. For the most part most of them tend to be pretty peaceful but if confronted or pushed into a situation they feel that they're being threatened they can become quite the force to be reckoned with, one archane can easily over power a big of people.
9. For relationships it all depends on the individual, some are more socials and some are more shy
10. mm maybe I don't know yet it all depends on how the species evolves over time.

i saw that part with the scattering of the gems: are they only on the hair, horns, ears and tail or is face/skin allowed (or is that a special trait as your cutie has some under the eyes)

for the gems they're scattered on all the places that you mention, you can add them in their face for extra aesthetic. Like under the eyes, forehead, etc, but try to not over do it if you choose to place some in their face
( there's no special trait for that is totally optional just like the black arms )

hey, do the flowers/plants have to be flowers specifically or can they be any plant? I'm considering using an ornamental grass for my myo if that's allowed ;;
same sort of goes for gemstones, do they need to be gemstones specifically or can they be any type of crystalline mineral? I want to use pyrite crystals specifically

they can be any plant or flower as long as they're real and exists, so yeah you can use ornamental grass

mmm their powers are still a work on progress but...
they have telekinesis powers; most of the use it to control crystals/gems aka use them as weapons,shields, projectiles, etc
they also have healing properties due to their gems
( this may change since the lore of the species is still in progress )

well if you mean the hair/tail/etc they can be any color, tho try not to use hard neon colors
for the flowers/plants they can be any species that exist so color them in their original color, same goes for the gems

both arms can be either black or their natural skin color
and yes the horns can be any shape and designs and be placed anywhere around the head, if you want you can use the ones on the sheet but those are just examples
