2x zoom is very nice
that happens to me too where the size reverts and the category has to be re-selected after an edit.

sometimes it is "unopenable" for me, whole upload process really sucks on slow comps/connections...

great result, thanks for referring to my tut! I was also playing with such nice shapes to use the regularity as texture: [link] and as 3d shapes [link]

You're welcome! I had some problems with this tut. Somehow, my image wasn't looking as interesting as the tut shows, so I must have gotten something wrong. Of course, Xaos always tends to confuse me for some reason. I use it, but it's often trial and error and what looks good rather than understanding what I'm doing with it. But, you obviously have this well in hand! Yours is the best I've seen using this technique. Good luck in the contest.

we can exchange some params! i am not online at home these days so my answers will be even slower than usually but if you want... just let me know. and you can always ask the real masters of this technique [link] or [link]

I would love to exchange params with you!! I have done several and I'm having better luck with with them, but I would love to get the params for this or one similar to it. I just love the detail in this!!! I will note with you a couple of mine shortly.
