Description
So, here's the main protagonist of my AU! I know...Having a reincarnated/related character of a canon protag/antag is heavily considered a cliche but I'm gonna do my best to make it work!!

Here's a bio that's more in depth:

Names and Nicknames
Fern is his kittypet name, and transitioning to Thunderclan, he is given the name Nightpaw (in the future his name will be Nightstorm). In his time in the clan, his nicknames are Kittypet (Eaglepaw) and Whitepaw-Cat (Holloweyes).

Description
Fern is small tom-cat who heavily resembles his grandfather, Scourge, despite the white patch of fur around his chest. The patch resembles the wound that Firestar fatally gave the Blood Clan leader during the darkest hour.
  • His fur is sort of soft, but definitely slick.
  • Fern is rather ignorant about the clan cats; his knowledge was filled by his other grandfather, Socks, and his brother, Beau.
  • Fern was born as a kittypet; he lived in the Two-Leg nest in Shadowclan's territory (based on the Lake territory).
  • He does have the collar for a little while, but ends up getting it off later; what a surprise, he tried using a dog tooth (but unlike silly ol' edgy grandpa, it works and the collar rips).
  • He does have a scar on his right shoulder from fighting Eaglepaw (Eagelbrook on the reference).
• Fern could be considered a prophecy? Although, he isn't the GOOD kind of prophecy, at least to Frostheart.

Personality, Strength/Weakness, Flaws, Goal(s)
The black tom-cat does struggle with confrontation. He often gets scared when he's in a situation that he knows he can't get out of so easily. But when he's comfortable, Fern is loud and is very playful, and he especially loves talking with Beau about their wild imaginations and what it could be like to live with the wild cats.
Strengths
      • He has a pretty good sense of smell, and can catch onto the new scents of clan cats.
      • Fern has Scourge's fast reflexes, but he doesn't use them in combat (at least for the start of the AU...); rather, he kinda tries to run away from things.
  Weakness
      • As mentioned, he tries to run away, and he fails at confronting other cats.
      • Fern, although has fast reflexes, is weak when it comes to using his claws.
• Any overwhelming smells will make him nauseous.
Flaws
      • Because of his resemblance to Scourge, a lot of the clan cats who recall the battle in the old territory or have heard the story of the fight with Blood Clan, do not trust him.
• Fern is way too nice and can't properly refuse an unjust fight. He fights Eaglepaw, and let's him land a hit (hence the scar on his right shoulder), and all he could do is cry in pain. Of course, Eaglepaw is stopped. But back to Fern, he literally cannot fight properly.
• He's gulible, and as mentioned, he has a rather naive take on the clan cats of the wild because of his family. Fern learns eventually about how cats truly act in the wild, but for a while, he percieves them as "aggressive, brute" and "has no regards to respecting kittypets".
Goals
• Fern doesn't know his purpose as a "prophecy" and why he's seen as a threat besides him being related to a cat who tried to take away the clan's right of the old forest territory. He has memories from his grandfather's past life, and he wants to figure out why he's getting these memories. The tom does not understand the significance of these memories and for a while, will have a "fun" time trying to reach this goal.
• He wants to prove the clan cats wrong; he'll never be a threat like his grandfather.
