An ancient being, Vidar has roamed the land for many generations and watches over the forests, guarding them from outside forces that seek to destroy them. Humans and Reos who try to trespass into his land with ill-intent will meet a quick end, either by being destroyed by his powerful ice magic, or by meeting his teeth.
Vengeful and without mercy, those who have been mistreated and wronged can leave offerings in order to call upon him, and if he deems it worth his time it is said he will appear in the night under the cover of snowfall to punish those who have earned his wrath. He is fiercely protective over women and children, and will answer their pleas for justice without hesitation.
Those who call for him over petty reasons are the ones who earn his ire, and they'd be lucky if they walked away only missing one limb for the price of their arrogance.
Quiet, Vidar is not one for conversations and prefers to stay silent regardless of the situation, you'd be lucky to get a single word out of him during an encounter. He despises the company of others, though, and will often abandon someone in a heartbeat if they try to stick by his side without his approval, whether or not he leaves them in a dangerous area is none of his concern.
