Thats true, but then again they have the element of surprise, believing them to be allies the Jedi would not suspect them to shoot so they would lower their guard. A reason why Palpatine's plan worked in erradicating most of the Jedi

I too wonder about what will happen to Snips.
I can see her escaping the purge, only to find that Anakin led it. She then hunts him down and confronts Vader, only for him to kill her.
A sad way to end things, but I could kinda see it
