~ Year 2373, 4 hours later ~The Queen's sphere arrives at Verian II. It's deflector, the maw of the sphere, brightens and shoots a beam onto space; above the planet. A bluish vortex opens up. The Borg sensor klaxon wails, and detects a ship. It's the Ambassador, blocking the path between the vortex and the sphere.
Rufus orders the Logan to scan the vortex, and appears to be true of what Salena said; they are planning to return to the past.
Rufus: "Warn them that we will return fire, Swift."
Swift obeys, and fires a single phaser shot, which hits the sphere's shielding.
Logan: "Captain, they also have temporal shielding."
