Yeah Otogi's father duelled Yugi's grandpa in a Shadow (Yami) game and lost and was cursed to be ugly/old before his time. So he goes around in a clown outfit and mask instead (cuz he's that hideous, even Otogi can't bare to look at him). Otogi's dad is a jerk like Noa's dad too, he abuses Otogi with a whip and he's selfish like crazy! Evil bad fathers seem to be common in YGO
