Making a promise you can’t keep is one of the worst and best things someone you can do cause promising that everything will be ok is reassuring but if that promise is broken then that person you made a promise to might never trust you again. And this is sorta what happened with me and my dad but I think he also didn’t use the right words to try and reassure me. Not too long ago my niece had died but before she was officially announced as dead my dad kept saying that she H A S to be ok. I really don’t think that was the right words he should’ve used. That can make a person feel better but it will also give a person doubt and it was the latter feeling for me when it came to when we were in the hospital.
