Something wicked cool this way comes! I'm embarking on the largest art project I've ever done, dwarfing anything I've done in the past! More details to come, so keep a weather's eye on my DA posts for updates. For now, here's a test render from the project that I was too proud of not to share in advance. I've perfected my own custom 3Delight shader that enables surfaces of objects to emit realistic lighting directly, something long overdue for my artwork. I'm so thrilled over how much this brings the environment to life and ties my characters to it! The lighting definitely stacks the render time, but it's so worth!
