Description Behold! The Mew Berry Rod!!! (or wand/staff, whatever you wanna call it )

This was not commissioned by anyone nor was it bought from an online store~ I made this all from scratch! (with the exception of the heart, three of the bunny heads and the bow)

Gosh, this was HARD to make!! Mostly because of the giant strawberry and finding white bunny heads~

I tried to make the giant strawberry out of a large Styrofoam egg and coveredb it with oven bake clay and well... it cracked and melted majorly So I found a glass ornament and covered it in a thick layer of air drying clay and painted over it!

The bunny heads took me FOREVER to find!! Finally found the perfect ones at Kmart,  and even then I didn't have enough... so I made one out of the scrap material used from the bunny bodies which I took the heads from~  (morbid isn't it?? )

Nevertheless, it was still loads of fun to make

Let me know if you have any questions!

What material did you use for the actual rod part of the weapon? I’m making a Mew Berry cosplay now and I want to make her weapon as well.

For the rod, I used a plastic tubing from a large plastic candy cane. You might be able to find some left over large decorative Christmas candy canes from Walmart or craft stores. If not, I would hit a hardware store for some plastic tubing, like thin pvc pipes. Make sure the plastic isn’t too thick because you’ll need to cut it to a shorter length for the wand. Also, to hold the large strawberry in place, I used a wine cork shoved into the piping. (And why I had to use that method was because my strawberry was made from a Christmas ornament that had a hole in the bottom) You may want to hot glue it or use E6000 glue to secure it before putting into the pipe. I also suggest adding glitter accents to the yellow gold crown part of the strawberry and your leaves, as well as using sparkling fake gems to use for the dots because it really adds to the prop

If you have any other questions about what else I used, I’d be happy to help!
