The third installment of the Chrono Trigger bio series. Robo is very cute -- my first exposure to him was my brother ~SolraBizna 's StepMania stepfile of "The Incredible Singing Robot" , where I thought he was just the most adorable thing ever, because the lyrics made him seem so cute!! (like "Robots can be for evil or good; please don't reprogram me!" and "I'm happy to be in your party, aren't you?" and stuff)

This one was tricky to draw. Layout was pretty easy, but the details were a big pain. I basically had to copy every detail directly from [the PlayStation promo image] , only the opposite side 3/4 view. Coloring it was fun, though. There were few enough colors that the whole thing was done solely with fill layers, which saved me some memory/time/RAM-burnage.

Robo (designation R66-Y):
timeline: future (year 2300)
weapon type: arm
magic type: not magical
favored item combos: Terra Arm, Haste Helm, Nova Armor, SightScope, but really, anything works, especially the accessory.
other notes: I tend to not use Robo so much in-game because I prefer overtly offensive attackers to defensive characters. There are some times you must have him in your party, and at those times I usually have him heal the team, use items, or double/triple Techs while others do the actual attacking. Otherwise.... well, if I have an extra FrenzyBand handy, it's okay on him.... yeah.
