I don’t understand why people have a problem with this
Just look at Skyrim, you can eat a potato, drink a potion, change weapon/armour, etc, in the middle of combat or swimming
So eating while swimming isn’t that crazy
*procedesToChugAnotherWaterbreathingPotion* “I’m swimming the length of this coast line underwater whether the walrus’ and fish want me to or not!”

Also, how does he regain stamina by eating while paragliding in the air? XD

Singlehandedly! 😉

LoL
But he would need a third hand. If either hand let's go, the paragliding would lose support and Link would fall from the sky.

I think one hand is enough to support him!

He probably brings his hand to the center.

Games mechanics and common sense don't go together that well... To be honest I don't even think people would eat something whilst clinging to a rock wall either. And if we want to be really picky we could ask how one food item can make a whole meal or why some weapons break after five strokes
Anyway, I really like your little comic and I'm looking forward to seeing more for BotW
By the way: what is that cat picture doing on Link's arm?? Is it a watermark or an inside joke?

Haha it's a watermark but also an inside joke
And thank you! I'm hoping more funny quirks show up in the game so I can make more comics about them hahahaha Love game mechanics and common sense

Almost got it
I'm sure there'll be many more or those things to talk about

It's the same with eating during a battle.

It's the same as in other games with that mechanic. I saw a comic on Facebook involving a solider of Skyrim telling his son tales of the Dragonborn: "And the Dragonborn, weakened in the middle of battle consumed sixteen whole cheese wheels..." Yeah, in that game, I've downed, like 15 bags of raw flour while fighting a dragon, so Link eating a meat skewer while swimming... kind of makes more sense. But not much more!

Raw flour? O_o That sounds delicious. Don't you have any empathy for the poor Dragonborn?
No matter the game, it's always hilarious! It's the same in any other Zelda-game, when Link drinks LonLon milk or whatever: "Sorry, Ganon, hold on a second, I need to trink my milk now...because I'm a real man and that's what real men are doing. Drinking milk."
The food in BotW looks so delicious, everytime I play it I'm becoming hungry immediately...tasty food

One evening, due to needing to make dinner from what we had around... I cut up some tough "steaks" we had in the freezer (beef, just... poor people steak), put in some shitake mushrooms (I know a place to get dried ones cheap), simple dark soy sauce seasoning... and described the dinner I made as "Link-food" as I sat down with it (with my man watching me play) to more BotW. "Meat and mushrooms. What he's (points at screen) eating."

It does have a stamina wheel, but you can increase it easily throughout the game (and replenish it with food mid-action too, as you can see ) so it's really not as limiting as it looks. Like seriously, right in the beginning of the game I swam to an island I could barely see from the shore that I'm pretty sure you weren't *technically* supposed to get to till later.... but I just kept chomping because I'm stubborn that way, and made it no problem
Fingers crossed you can get the game, I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Lol. I skipped things in Twilight Princess...and ended up causing a glitch. SO...then I had to start all over. Yay... D:
And, yes. I hope so! Thanks! <3

Oh no that must have sucked! D: Kudos for actually having the patience to replay though - I mighta had to leave it for a long time after something like that
You shouldn't have that problem botw at least - other than the very intro, you're pretty much free to do whatever you want. No promises you'll LIVE through it, but you can sure as heck try!
