Description
People who know me know that I like food, not just because of its taste, but because of its looks. The assignment was to make an abstract vignette out of any category or theme. My main intention for this design was to make everything look really tasty.Gouache and sesame seeds on colored paper.

Love this new take on food design. I especially like the transition phase with the pizza and burger. All of the food is nicely balanced and not too distracting.

but the problem is that I'm having some issues with the BACKGROUND!
how to color it, in a gradient technique...
should I color it first or last?! and if first... can I color over it with another layer without blending?!

the watermelon doesn't seem to fit in with all the other fat, greasy stuff. But the pie looks really good ^^
