Thanks... which forum did you see it at? Eye is done by adding several layes of gloss acrylic varnish until a good depth and shine is reached.

thanks for the tips..Didn't know that several layers would make it more real..so wait untill it dries after every layer and then add again right?

Yeah, that's the way, let it dry then add another coat... usually about 3 or 4 coats is enough.

You know, sometime, great sculptor like you are just good at sculpting and spoil their work as soon as the paint it...... But you are not one of them as this piece is just great and (I didn't thought it was possible) even greater than hes not painted version.
The light in the eye is just a great idea and the other don't need electicity to light up, you made it so alive and alike the original.

It is very generous of you to say that. I don't consider myself to be a very good painter, and I was very apprehesive before I started painting 'Unlce Bob'. There are some artists out there who can paint very realistic skin... I haven't been able to work out how they do it yet, but hopefully my techniques will improve with time. I'm glad you like the eye
