The Organisation de l'armée secrète (OAS) have hired an English contract killer to assassinate president Charles de Gaulle for half a million dollars. To complete his mission the assassin, code name JACKAL, has acquired a custom made .22 calibre sniper rifle from former FN gunsmith Paul Goossens.

This weapon, costing £1,200 has been tailor-made for one man and one job under one set of circumstances, never to be repeated.
