Description
After having my Space Shuttle art featured on a couple of space oriented group clubs here on DA, I recalled a Shuttle I designed from a standard mailbox, back in 1988.

The nose was wood, and the wings sheet metal, and, after finishing I posed with it, in front of my old house in Sedona, AZ.

In spite of some warnings it might get stolen, it stayed untouched for 5 years working as a regular mailbox, until a vandal damaged it around 1993. The incident made me bring it inside, and though the damage was light, when I moved out the following year, I trashed it-to my regret...
