Tribute 1 Synchro Monster; Special Summon from your hand 1 "/Assault Mode" monster whose name includes the Tributed monster's. (This Special Summon is treated as a Special Summon with "Assault Mode Activate"). You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Assault Mode Activate" from your hand or Deck, also it can be activated this turn. You can only use each effect of "Assault Mode Zero" once per turn.

They never continued making new Asaault Modes for Synchro Monsters when they first did it.
So they could make new Assault Modes for any Synchro Monsters that have come out since then or not make any at all.

well thought out, but if it was that, we would not have monsters like shooting star dragon and red nova dragon in the anime and tcg/ocg.

Yeah... Kinda a shame it wasn't even considered, they even had Yusei Fusion summon, which could have been a decent counter, but Assult mode cards were only shown in a non-canon ova duel.
