If your opponent adds a card(s) from the Deck to their hand by their card effect, except by drawing them: Reveal 1 card from your Deck, and add it to your hand, but you cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with that name for the rest of this turn. You can only activate 1 "Catch Copy" per turn.

Dear sir, i do have to disagree with you on that matter, this yugioh trap card is quiet overpowered in my humble opinion.

It's a decent card, but if it could be used from the hand, hell, if you could activate traps from your hand on your opponent's turn traps would be good PERIOD, but this is one that should be like Imperm, that'd make it so much better than set 1, pass, get OTKed, but hey you got a search.

If you're opening play is literally just setting this card and passing, this card ain't your problem. But I agree, it should be like impermanence, that'd increase this thing's utility tenfold.

Well, Desires DOSE let you draw two cards..... so depending on the dialogue he may not be technically lying.
Still, this serves as a good reason to always double check what you are buying to see if it is exactly what you think it is.
Also, it's a pretty decent effect, letting you add whatever you want..... if you can pull it off.
