Fan-made cardEffect:
Cannot be Tributed. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Dark Guardian" or "Gate Guardian" you control. Unaffected by other cards' effects. While you control this face-up card, your opponent must reveal their entire hand. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 5 cards from your Main Deck, and if you do, add 1 card from your opponent's Main Deck to your hand. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 "Dark Guardian" or "Gate Guardian" from your Deck or GY, ignoring the Summoning conditions.

foolish burial send gate guardian to the grave then use dark element to summon dark guardian, then tribute dark guardian to summon this baby, not that hard really

actually yes, i've actually done this before for dark guardian, blue-eyes ultimate dragon, ancient gear golems, even cyber end dragon, all with the same card of foolish burial, even the ojamas are kinda easy to summon with red and with orichalcos all on the first turn
while yes i will agree that i've screwed myself over many times but i do pride myself in fusion power and high atk power to full back on, which also screws myself over sometimes, but i like finding new ways to summon more powerful monsters with old cards

I’m talking about the banish 5 to search effect. It seems to me that if you banish cards that have effects when banished, face up, that would be OP, or am I off base here? Thats why I mentioned having the banish be facedown rather than face up.

Well hell. Gonna be that way just to beat it-especially considering it may as well have the Millennium Eye installed in it someplace too.
It could die to Utopia though, but that seems to be it. And they'll have to deal with the original 3750 article after that too.
Basically, Counter Trap it on Summon or kiss the Duel goodbye.
Do wish to know if I could perhaps spread the love clearly placed in this card-perhaps by using that picture for a card in the Dark Wave? Full credit will be yours, of course.

I can only think of four ways to stop this, and other monsters that are unaffected by other card effects, after at least ten minutes of giving it thought.
1. Extinction on Schedule: This card forces the players to take an action (in this case, sending all of cards they control to the Graveyard) as opposed to it sending the cards to the Graveyard. (According to the rulings, it can get rid of monsters such as Zushin the Sleeping Giant.)
2. Skill Drain being on the field before this is Summoned. I read a ruling that if a monster unaffected by card effects (Immortal Phoenix, Zushin, etc.) is Summoned while Skill Drain is already face-up on the field, it will have its effects negated. But not if Skill Drain is flipped face-up after it is Summoned.
3. DNA Surgery + Cyber Dragon. Same as above, as long as it's on the field before this is Summoned. It will become a Fusion Material for Chimeratech Fortress Dragon. (Chimeratech's summoning condition isn't like Kaijus, it doesn't tribute, it sends from the field to the Graveyard.)
4. Super Polymerization, Destruction Swordsman Fusion: It can still be used as a Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon.

I forgot about Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, The Wicked Avatar, and Honest + any LIGHT monster. The Wicked Avatar will always have 100 more ATK than this, and Crystal Wing will always gain its 4750 ATK if they battle.
But my point was, if something like Skill Drain and DNA Surgery are all the field before a monster unaffected by card effects hits the field, then it will be affected by that card and have its effects negated/become Machine-Type. That's according to those cards rulings anyway.
Zushin's ruling is even paraphrased on its Tip Page on the Yugioh wiki as to how to counter it: "If a Continuous Effect that negates monster effects is already active before this card is Summoned (such as "Destiny HERO - Plasma" or "Skill Drain"), its effects will be negated."
