Description  yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Firewall…

effect:
2+ monsters
Once while face-up on the field (Quick Effect): You can target monsters on the field and/or GY up to the number of monsters co-linked to this card; return them to the hand. If a monster this card points to is destroyed by battle or sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 monster from your hand.

Card Trivia:

  • This monster is named after a firewall , a network security system in computing that monitors and controls the incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predetermined security rules.
    • Therefore, this card can represent Yusaku's actions as Playmaker against the Knights of Hanoi : Protecting the Virtual World against any threat that menaces it.
  • This card was the first Link-4 monster to be released.
  • This card has 2 downgraded Link-2 counterparts: "Proxy Dragon " and "Security Dragon ".
    • Their combined ATK, Link Ratings, and Link Arrows  equal those of this card's.
    • Their effects are also very similar, with the effect of "Proxy Dragon" involving cards it points to being destroyed (though in this case it is a cost rather than a trigger), and the effect of "Security Dragon" returning cards to the hand once while its on the field if it is co-linked .
  • This monster and "Decode Talker " are the first ace monsters of a spin-off protagonist whose Type  is neither Dragon  nor Warrior , thus breaking the pattern of the spin-off protagonists' ace monsters (though "Firewall Dragon" does resemble a Dragon and "Decode Talker" does resemble a Warrior, so they only break the pattern semantically).
    • It is also the first time a protagonist uses a newly created Type (in this case, Cyberse ).
    • This card eventually replacing the 2300 ATK "Decode Talker" as Yusaku's ace monster mirrors both Jaden Yuki's "Elemental HERO Neos ", who eventually replaced the 2100 ATK "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman ", and Yusei Fudo's "Stardust Dragon", who eventually replaced the 2300 ATK "Junk Warrior ".
    • Therefore the thematics of "Firewall Dragon" which, focus on recovery and Summoning back monsters to strengthen the field by its presence, can be similar to the effect of "Stardust Dragon" to protect the field from any harmful effect by its presence and Summoning itself back to strengthen the field.
      • Those similarities are also applied to their rival monsters "Topologic Bomber Dragon " and "Red Dragon Archfiend ", which are their complete foils and focus mainly to the destruction of the field to reign supreme by itself, as well as being the same Type .
      • This card also opposes "Borreload Dragon ", as both monsters feature opposing stances and color schemes similar to "Stardust Dragon" and "Red Dragon Archfiend." Furthermore, their effects also oppose each other, as "Firewall" willingly protects other monsters, while "Borreload" forcefully controls  other monsters before sending them to the Graveyard .
  • This monster's first artwork features a pose similar to the artwork of "Stardust Dragon", while its second artwork is the form it "transitions" into in order to attack.
  • This card is the first monster cover card not to appear in the anime before the next booster pack cover card monster.
  • This monster's attack name, "Tempest Attack", is likely named after Transient Electromagnetic Pulse Emanation Standard (TEMPEST) Attacks, which work on the principle of intercepting electromagnetic radiation emissions from electronic devices such as monitors, hard disk and PC memory from a remote location, and allow the replay of the information captured.
  • This is the first signature card of a main protagonist to be on the Forbidden/Limited Lists; it is currently Limited  in both TCG  and OCG .
    • It is also the first Link Monster, as well as the first Cyberse monster, to be Limited as well as be on the Lists.
  • Even though this monster is the signature card of Yusaku Fujiki, it has been summoned the least amount of times. Whereas most main protagonists signature monsters have appearad relatively often in most future duels they're owners are involved in, Yusaku has been an outlier in this regard, only using it a handful of times in the anime.

(Not sure where else to comment about this exactly.)
I was looking over DeviantArt since I needed it for something (without the Secret Rare foil design over the artwork), but I'm surprised there isn't a high quality artwork of Tornado Dragon on DeviantArt yet.

I didn't know it was gonna be released in the OCG already.

Though I do kinda need an art of Tornado Dragon without the secret rare pattern now. I've got everything else for what I'm doing finished.

When I first saw this card, I was like "Holy crap, get 4 cards linked to it, then bounce 4 cards from Graveyard to hand, and if this card dies, it summons anything you want from hand!"

Now, I'm like "How the hell are you able to bounce 4 cards from field or graveyard to hand in a format where Link is here and there (except Star-Grail)? Oh well, but now, at least whenever your monsters linked to it is sent to the Graveyard to make more Links, I can just summon that Blue-Eyes and from my hand to the field, no biggie."

Holy shit, that'll be OP! Remember how The Seal of Orichalcos  in the anime made the Spell & Trap Zones also Monster Zones? If you used the anime version of it in a YGOPRO you'd basically fuse the Extra Deck with the Main Monster Zones

AlanMac95 In reply to Xaou91 [2017-03-19 09:00:43 +0000 UTC]

the limit is 5 , because you only have 5 monster zones ....

Nope, you can summon a Link 8 by using Firewall Dragon (Link 4, counted as 4 materials) + 4 monsters..

Secondary ace.

Kind of like how Yusei's two aces were Junk Warrior and Stardust Dragon, but in the last episode, he uses Junk Warrior to beat Jack one last time.
