Just a little something I produced to reflect my feelings on this subject. This pairing just doesn't work in my opinion. Note: For those who didn't know, the "It's true love" and "Match made in heaven" options are meant to be sarcastic and/or satirical.Related content

To me, Ichigo and Rukia were more of best friends or bother/sister. Romance would ruin the bond they already have. And Renji and Orihime really care for them.

Yes! IchiHime and RenRuki FTW. <3 I agree, Ichigo and Rukia act more like siblings and are definitely best friends - as you say, romance would destroy the special bond they share. Plus, Orihime and Renji love those two so it would break their hearts if Ichigo and Rukia became a couple.

Agreed completely. I don't think it will at this stage in the manga. Renji and Rukia have been practically joined at the hip in the final arc so far and Ichigo and Orihime are now running off together to face the enemy.

Huh? That's kind of random and off topic. What do you mean - "kill Orihime" as an option on the error message, something you'd choose instead of the choices given or is this just a throwaway comment? Just so you know, she is my fave character in Bleach. I respect that people don't like her but unnecessary bashing is something I find to be a waste of time. If that is your intention, then your input is not wlecome.

I dun think Rukia's tsun for Ichigo. (so I dun agree with the person below)
If she was tsun, the moment everyone asked "are you Kurosaki dating?" instead of spitting out the milk she was drinking, she'd have went all red and giddy and stammered "t-that idiot!? O-of course not!!" or something along the lines.
Anyways, I think Ichigo and Rukia understands each other very well. To the point it may seem like they're a couple. They're like two peas in a pod; like siblings in arms. :'] That's what I like about their relationship.

I don't think Rukia's a tsundere when it comes to Ichigo either. She would have most likely reacted the way you said when asked that question had she been one. I totally agree with your take on their bond. Two peas in a pod indeed. I think they are soul mates too but not in the romantic sense.

Except for the part where there's this thing called being a tsundere. Rukia has all the classic symptoms. The fact is, the most recent chapters before the arc change SUPPORT RukiIchi. (We all know who the top in this pairing is, and it's just not Itsi.)

As an IchiHime fan, I concede to the fact that if Ichigo/Rukia happens, yes. Rukia would seme his ass.

Well, it's up to you how you interpret Rukia's behaviour. I don't think she does but that's me. I reckon she and Ichigo fight like siblings more than anything and what they share is more of a deep friendship and familial bond. The most recent chapters before the timeskip certainly support the fact they are close friends.

XD I can see why you like it, despite not supporting it myself. Ichigo and Ishida do have a dynamic which can be seen as hints to a yaoi/shounen-ai connection. Regarding Rukia being a tsundere, again I can see the reason it's just my interpretation that she isn't. It's the same with you saying about the recent chapters favouring RukiIchi which I acknowledge despite not agreeing. XD Who's to say I'm right? It's Kubo's manga and his characters so it's him who will ultimately decide. I'm not so blinded by my preferences that I don't factor in the chance that it could go the other way.
