The Petera-Type Lance was super heavy graded thermal emitter that could vaporise fleets if they stood too close. Due to performances of released energy, it’s output could only burn away a rough 10 kilometre cone of air-space with a firing range of less than 330 kilometres.

With her being an energy based weapon, the power core can give need to a blistering 2000 decrees for a whole 5 seconds. It can pull through with multiple bursts in rapid succession, making it one of the fastest-firing lance types. But as the heat builds up from overuse, the main battery would suffer catastrophic internal damage, leading to a core melt down and eventual destruction: to aide in post-firing, cooling systems would immediately turn on by order of the thermal energy administrator or appropriate staff and personnel.

The Petera is considered a pure Ardent-era construct, by modern standards according to experts. Her designs were based on a sub-variant of Skyship Scorner but upscaled and reworked to accommodate for her purposes. First experimented in Elysian Calendar 116, and perfected ten years later. The defensive gun saw action on both sides of the Great War.
