He has just the right touch of volatile crazy that makes the Creeper such a favorite. Definitely gotta love how that turned out!
I'd choose the lower-left (viewer's left) with the black background for the same reason that Dub-T said. He blends in a bit with the other background choices.

I think lower left works best. Makes Creeper "pop" more.
