thanks and yeah gotta love swashbuckling nightcrawler. speaking of which alan davis was at mid-ohio he did excalibur in the 80's his nightcrawler was always my favorite.

I followed Excalibur for a little bit, I was a fan of Kitty Pryde.

I didn't like the self mutilating Kurt they created for the X-men movie. Kurt (at least in my head) was always a playful happy go lucky kind of guy. Swashbuckling Nightcrawler is badass.

I didn't get a chance to say hey-lo to Alan Davis, but had a good show none the less. I'm *still* sleepy from all the noise, lights, cheerleaders and what have you.

Glad to have met you, I'm sure I'll see you around!

yeah it took me till today to get energy to draw and stuff.
i didn't get to say hi to anybody. as for kitty pryde i got a toon of her coming up. i think that the excalibur team was pretty good. it was the only book back then that i bought each issue of. and seeing as it was before being introduced to comic shops i think i did pretty well collecting them and west coast avengers by john byrne, those books aalone were just good fun.

yeah hope to see you around, are you going to the screaming tiki cnvention next weekend?

How about you? You got a table?

Hope you had fun at Screaming Tiki.

I enjoyed getting to see the batcopter, one of my friends shelled out the 50 bucks to ride in it and seemed to have the time of his life.

Just wishing you well, hope to hear from you soon.

Dekathos In reply to AlanSchell [2008-09-18 19:28:15 +0000 UTC]

It's so dumb when Marvel made him all dreary and depressing just because he's religious. Even though he was from the very start. I remember the 90's cartoon went completely ballistic with the concept and X2. Then Claremont followed suit. So glad I don't read that book anymore. Oh well at least he was still funny in X2.

he was a wimp in x2 wolvie totally crapped on him thus killing he cool factor for me besides i don't like all those tatoos they put on him. i like my comics like i like my politics "seperation of church and state". not to get to heavy. keep it light ha,ha
