Nitpicky Time
First Pic - (Top Left) The blood of it makes it look fairly real to a point (not smoothed in, just lightly penciled on), but being a sketch a lot of detail is missing. It still looks really cool though XD
Second Pic - (Top Right) Armour is looking better with more contrast than the first one. Missing the blood
Third Pic - (Bottom Left) Wonderful detail on the spaulder?(shoulder piece of armour), sleave, skirt, scabbard, and sword. The bright sword adds something to the pic! No face though
Fourth Pic - (Bottom Right) Nearly Life Like! The sleave looks absolutely wonderful, while the hair could use a lot more contrast in it.
Yeah, I know i had very little reason to actually do this

Lets see where to start!
First pic: yep thats my starting sketch... i did the black out lines and I colored under them to get a feel for what I was going to do (plus i picked most of the colors) but i left it as a different layer so i could get rid of it as I did the real painting over top of my outline (the blood was just to give myself an idea if it would work and I think it did!)
Second: Yep i took out the layer with the blood so i could get to work because Im the kind of person who leaves the best for last! And of course the blood was the best part!
third: I kinda have a habit where I will do a part of the body before I fill in the face because i want to make sure i can do the rest of the drawing before I work hard on a face... it goes back to my pencil drawings because I would work for days on the face and end up messing up the body or I would end up with "floating head syndrome" and you dont what to know that that is!!!
last: Ummmm :looks at my drawing: Oops! I forgot to hightlight the hair!!! Ill need to get that fixed! Thanks for spoting that!
these are all the same painting, I keep many different files just incase I mess up, then I can go back, so what Im left with is a bunch of snapshots of how I work and this is what this is (wow that a better discription than what I put orignaly)
and of course I keep the final hidden till its done! Bwhahahaha

Thank you! I liked the sketch too (one reason i did this)... and when it comes to the blood... you havent seen the final version yet... she is a mess in it Bwhahahahaha (hmmm this will be my first really bloody drawing in 10 years! ever since I was banned from drawing gore when I was little... ah its good to get back to it! lol)
