this is,,,, ehanother piece that im mostly posting because i spent so much time on it, rather than because its good. i dont really like how it turned out. maybe i should take a step back from trying hard paintings and just mess around loosely instead? ill try that

Actually, this isn't sucky at all but I think I can guess what you mean from spending too much time on a piece and the longer you sit there working on it the more it feels cramped or so... it's how I feel about most of my stuff. Your's doesn't look cramped, so what exactly are you unhappy with? I think it really awesome.

thanks for your kind words :v and ur right, that’s how i felt! i think i just set ridiculously high expectations for myself, and, understandably, didn’t meet them. it’s mostly how there’s small things that seem off and a lack of cohesiveness between aspects of the piece that makes me shy away from it :d
im probably just comparing myself to people i look up to too much. for my skill level right now, this really isn’t the worst thing in the world (and thanks for helping me see that ahhha)
