You can definitely love animal and still eat them. I love all animals but I love to eat meat too. I was always taught, you should never kill an animal unless you are going to eat it (however there are exceptions like terminally sick pets).

I would love to pet any farm animal and still eat cow and chickens. Maybe not in the same day because.. awkward but overall we are omnivores, we eat need both meat and veggies.

I am vegetarian and though for a while I saw it as hypocritical to love animals you call pets yet eat animals you call food, I have actually come to agree with this stamp. Well said

I know right? I ADORE animals, but I also love meat. I could never see myself going veggie, although I've ABSOLUTELY NOTHING against other people doing so unless they're extremists. It's personal choice.

wow that deserves a thumbs up, rally I have way to many vegies and vegans hate me hardcore for eating animals and keeping them as pets and loving them. I rarely find those who have enough sense to agree and STILL keep true to being vegan or vegie. your awesome

I find it natural, if not, we should blame leopards, wolfes and etc to eat other animals too? What I don't like is the way those animals we eat are treated and killed, living in imposibly small cages and being cut into pieces when they're still alive...

Yes!  Its worse than what the animals do because the animal being eaten dies after a few minutes while some humans do it the mean way.

Yeah... it's going to take ages to change it, industries won't do it because it is more expensive. But animals that had had a nice life produce better milk and meat, even in more quantity

Aren't we all animals? And there are animals that eat animals, right? I think that being created as an omnivore meat is a certain part of human diet. That doesn't mean I hate vegetarians. My problem is that so many farmers mistreat their animals. If it's farm animals' fate to die, we should at least make sure they had a good life before they're killed. Another problem is that so many animals die for no purpose because so much meat is simply thrown away

I'm no vegetarian but I know they don't eat flowers.  Flowers aren't exactly meant for humans to eat.  We eat veggies, fruits and meat.

Sunflower seeds
Roses (rose flavour is used in Turkish delight)
Dandelion poofs (they are edible too)
