Description
Based on a request that I couldn't figure out how to word properly.Instead of just liking an animal because it's "cool" or "pretty" why not actually learn something about it?

I have many animals that I really like, I can't choose 1 favorite, but when i was kinda like 10 or 12, I loved spending time reading and watching documentals about snakes and learning about them, i still love em.
I seriously can't see how can someone be fan of something and don't bother on knowing more about it. It just sounds completly retarded

Camels use thier humps to regulate their temperature
And when the hump doesn't have water in it, it like deflates.
Honestly, my favorite animal is an Okapi and I know like nothing about them except that they live in the rainforest and are related to giraffes

I know. It stores water in it's hump though then when it runs out of water it deflates a little bit.

I like informing people that love dolphins about how dolphins like to kill other animals for fun, how they like to rape each other (the celebrate everytime they eat with a group orgy), and they're the only other mammal that have same sex, sex

Hahaha, I was quite the bat nut and snake nut when I was younger =3 . I did quite a bit of research...and more on snakes. Heck, I spent three years researching before I got my snake.
I honestly say that if I come across a hippo fan who KNOWS the extreme danger of those animals, I will want to hug them SO badly. It's rumored that they were the only animal that Steve Irwin was afraid of. No kidding. In that sense, hippos are now more b@dass than wolves!

lol, me either that is why I went the other rout. I felt like "leaving wolves alone" "wow for a wolf you sure don't know anything about them" or "don't say little is known about the ________ when you said your soul is one!"

THEEEEE HUMAN BEING HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE EARLY PLEISTOCENE ERA
IT IS A BIPEDAL MAMMAL THAT IS CAPABLE OF COMPLEX THOUGHT PROCESSES AND USING THUMBS.
Welllll, excluding humans, I really like squid. Squid are cool. And octopi. and cuttlefish.
DAMN IT, I just like cephalopods in general.

Yus ;O; I went to an aquarium with my boyfriend.. an aquarium 2-3 hours away.. just so we could see cuttlefish xD We both love them. It was obvious they never get a lot of attention, so they totally ate it up when we stood there. One tried to swim to us and hit its head on the glass kinda hard.. xD I was like "Aww, he just wanted to cuttle!"

A lot of things are smarter than chickens.
And octopi are smarter than many mammals as well.
I don't like EATING octopi, though. D;
Besides, If I ate any mollusk I'd have an allergic reaction

OH HO, for some reason this reminded me of my obsession with foxes through 4th and 5th grade.
Thank God I did a report and learned about them.
(Unlike most people on this site who don't know shit about wolves or foxes, yet "LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!!1!".
LOL, like how wolfaboos rarely ever know anything about wolves.)

I approve of this message.
Also, I feel your pain when it comes to trying to word things. It's one of the main reasons why I haven't made some of the 30+ stamp ideas that I have ( aside from laziness, of course ). I don't think people realize that stamps can be a bit difficult to create sometimes. You only get so much space.

I hear that. I don't like oversized stamps and while I prefer static stamps if I do choose to animate I try to limit myself to 3 frames max. Ah well.

tppgraphics In reply to alaska-is-a-husky [2010-05-16 23:40:13 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, exactly! Oversized stamps tend to look terrible, in my opinion. When it comes to stamps with text, I tend to prefer the static ones as well, especially since I have lost my animation program and haven't tried loading it again yet due to paranoia ( it's complicated ) and am left with Gimp, which I despise.
I have a few stamps that I have made in the past which make me cringe when people them, because they have a billion frames. I still stand by what they say, which is why I don't remove them ( along with the fact that I hate it when people constantly delete things and they have been favorited quite a few times ), but they also kind of annoy me and...make me feel embarrassed.

If a toad accidentally eats a poisonous insect, they can throw-up their entire stomach and scrape it clean with their hand.
I saw one of my pet toads doing this once and was like "WTFBBQ!"

They purportedly have the shortest penis-length-to-body-size ratio of all primates.

Because that usually requires researching and reading. Two things most people don't want to do when online...or anywhere else.
Unless the whole summary of the animal, it's traits and otherwise can be written in about a sentence or less. I doubt anyone will do it
