My friend Imaxwebber www.deviantart.com/imaxwebber and i , after much trail and error came up with this the First Wolverine costume our verson of Laura Kinney will done when she takes up the mantel of Wolverine at the age of 20 in our story, Heros of the new age

to not give to many spoilers away, Logan is still alive when Laura dones the mantel of Wolverine tough he is much much older than he his typically portrayed much closer to his old man Logan persona. Though HOTNA will avoid that story as much as possible. Through we will keep that age has caught up to him largely due to decades of adamantium poisoning weaking his healing factor. So Laura and Logan will 'share' the mantel to an extent though Logan will be far less active as even if he is cured of the adamantium poisoning he will still be a old man, physically in his late 60tes if not older.

As we have stated before in some of her postings, Laura with in our projects , especially HOTNA will be of Hispanic decent (her mother and that side of her family will all be Hispanic) and will have noticeable darker skin than her canonical 616 counterpart or the movie verson

nothing against ether of those two adaptations, i love 616 and the Logan movie it was the last xmen movie as of writing this da post (glares at reader) but both i am imax are taking some inspiration from xmen evoluation and popular alternative design's for Laura that gives her darker skin.

We are also Keeping Sarah Kinney, Laura's mother alive into her adult years if not having her live out a full life. Though unlike 616, she did not give breath to Laura in the tradsional sense, and Laura was born more akin to the clones of star wars.

Through Sarah will still be her mother in the biologic sense , as Logan will be her father in the same sense

we are aware that is a weird hoop to jump through but not more weird than her traditional origin

Laura will reunite with her aunt Deborah and cousin Megan, through as we are keeping her mother alive in this universe, expect them to be more occasional supporting characters

She currently has two half brothers on her father's side James Howlett and Akihiro aka Daken

James is relatively contemporaneity to Laura, in that when they meet he's only in his late 20tes, early 30tes but looks 20 due to healing factor. he largely has a positive relationship if a distant one to Logan and has very little intrest in super hero antics having lived a relatively charm and stable life

Akihiro aka Daken will retain his comic origins in that he was born 1946 making him a 124 by the dawn of the new age give or take like his brother. he and Logan have faced each other many times over their long lives but hostility have cooled into something of a cold war between the estranged father and son as Logan enters the twilight of his life

Laura will meet/ reserve serval clone sisters towards the later half her her teenage years if meet them fully one year after being a 'solo' Wolverine

the only relevant sisters/ clones are as fallows, it should be noted that each of the clone was artificial aged up by their makers

of the sisters only the third Gabby naturally developed a healing factor though she did develop only after she had being scared

Zelda whom will be the oldest of the clones, physical and mentally she is closer to Laura age if not, visible older. due to significant flaws in her clone she has withered sickly skin and noticeable age marks. much of her body has being replaced with cybernetics (we more or less merged Zelda and the Tuocs cyborg clone featured in the most recent (at the righten of this da post) x23 series Zelda will likely die in story

Belladona is the next oldest being  physical and mentally around 17. due to the flaws in her cloneing she suffered from albinism, she two had some cyberneic implants in the form of two hand claws on each hand. later after meeting Laura she did develop her own healing factor but and a number of other visible but otherwise not beneficial mutations such scalyly boney skin and small boney growths

Gabby is the last and yongest of the clone sisters to be made, she naturally developed healing factor and a single bone claw in each hand. visible she is 10 to 13

HOTNA Laura will be associated largely with three teams though she will have spent a brief stint with a forth

Champions

X men

both myself and Imax wish to feature Laura on an avenger team at some point but we are no ware near the planing stages of that yet

Laura was very , very briefly a member of the sinister six though not by choice this was before she became a hero and later joined the champions

we currently have plans for two romances featering Laura to one extent or another.

She and fellow champion Miles will have a brief intrest in each other but when laura starts assoacting more with the xmen she and Julllian Keller aka Hellion will slowly develop a romantic. we are unsure if this is our OTP or Laura will date other guys

we are not touching the time displaced shipping nonsense of young angle or young scout or touching the time displaced original five xmen at all

while i admit to having a little soft spot for Laura and time displaced young angle, it is far to messy and unseesary it will not be included in HOTNA
