Yeah, Fluffpuff is my first competitively bred PokΓ©mon, max IVs in all but Special Attack as he's a physical sweeper. It was a bit of work but it paid off!

Sweet! That's the exact Altaria set I want for myself. What's mainly holding me back is that I can't find the right natured one to breed. Offensive Dragon Dance is so neat-o.

Oh! Well, if you use a Pokemon with the ability Synchronize, it can help you get the nature you want. Pokemon such as Abra and Ralts have it, and how it works is that any Pokemon you encounter in the wild will have a 50% chance of having the same nature as a Pokemon with Synchronize in the front of your party.Β (That does require getting an Adamant Abra/Ralts, etc., but then it's much easier to find multiple Adamant Swablu) Then just use the PokΓ©nav Radar thing (I think that's what it's called?) to help you find Some swablu with perfect IVs, and once you have a good amount then you can start breeding them to get the best combination of perfect IVs. And once you're breeding them you use an Everstone to pass down the nature.
That's a lot of text, but I hope this helps!

Oh I know how it works. I'm usually the one that has to explain to others. I have a perfect Japanese Ditto (got it in a trade during the BW era) all I pretty much need is the nature for Swablu and I'm golden. But I don't got any Jolly Synchronize Mons. Couldn't find those, either.

I literally just bred Abras and got lucky with getting an Adamant one in like the 4th egg or so. But the other natures I might end up using later, so if it takes a lot of attempts it's not all bad.
Wow, I wish I had a perfect Ditto like that; that would be so useful. Unfortunately I don't so I have to breed 'em the old fashioned way.
Also, a Jolly nature for Mega Altaria will allow it to outspeed a few more things, but it really appreciates having a lot of power so that's why I chose Adamant.

Yeah, the Ditto takes a ton of steps out of the whole process, especially with all the breeding mechanic changes this gen.
You probably end up with a ton of useless Mons, right? I'd be willing to do a "breedject" trade Pokemon I don't have (competitively) with you to make use of them besides sending off on Wonder Trade. Interested?

Sure! I haven't gotten to Wonder Trading any of them yet, so I'll sort out the 4 IV ones I have I if you want. Would the 3 IV ones be helpful at all?

So long as they have the appropriate nature, ability, and egg moves, I'll accept any.

By appropriate nature, do you mean Adamant or Jolly? Mine are all Adamant if you don't mind. And for the Altaria I was breeding, it didn't require any egg moves (Return[TM]/Earthquake[TM]/Dragon Dance[level up]/Roost[TM]) And their abilities are Natural Cure.

OK. I'll accept that. That's pretty good.
As breedjects, I got:
- Bold Porygon with Trace (meant to be Porygon2)
- Timid Noibat with Infiltrator
- Jolly Sneasel with Ice Punch, Icicle Crash, and Fake Out
- Jolly Beldum
- Bold Chrolophyll Bulbasuar
- Bold Regenerator Foongus
- Adamant Huge Power Bunnelby
- Naive Rough Skin Gible with Outrage
- Adamant Defiant Pawniard with Revenge, Psycho Cut, Pursuit, and Sucker Punch
Any of those breedjects interest you?
I also do have a few perfectly breed (5 IV) Pokemon laying around too I haven't trained... but that's gonna cost you real Pokemon.

I'm interested in the Foongus or the Pawniard (I don't know which yet!). I'll gladly give you multiple 4 IV Swablu for either (and I can mark which IVs are perfect using those little symbols on their summary) You can note me with your Friend Code, but I'm traveling right now so for the next several days I won't be able to make the trade. I can note you back when I'm available.

I'm willing to do more than one trade, of course. Maybe if you got other breedjects for Pokemon I want. I can wait, so I'll note you my FC now so we can do it when you get back (just don't forget yours )
I can also breed the Battle ready Pokemon I do got to give to you as well
