ok i have done a few water shoots and i cannot get what i want. None compare to yours (which i might add are doing nothing but getting better) I am so envious of you lol Keep up the great work and don't be afraid to share some secrets

Is the reclction the real reflection of the water or a manipulation? And how the HELL do you always manage to make the fabric do such wonderful things?! This is absolutely one of my favorites. It's a pose similar to one I"ve seen in many paintings (IE Mucha) but to see it in real life is even more beautiful

All of the reflections are real. I've never been satisfied with either computer generated or hand made fake reflections. I can always spot them probably because I am so familiar with the real thing.
And the secret to making the fabric do wonderful things is quite simple: shoot 1,000 shots and choose the best ones. You learn very quickly that you cannot really control anything underwater, so seeking Beauty there is an exercise in sitting back and letting things take their course.

very true! It sort of adds to the beauty that it's not artificially posed but the true effect of water and movement. Though I'm not sure I'd ever be able to choose heh, I can barely choose when I take 30 pictures of the same subject. Thank you for your answers
