Previous part:[link]I don't like how the drawing turned out :I Blush is too dark and her skin seems to be too light OTL oh well.... So this part will finally explain why I have the song "Anata ga Koko ni iru Riyuu" continually appear in this fic. Yay. I apologize for this part being extremely LONG...but its a VERY, VERY important part so that's why.
Storyline~
'...Where is she? That girl from over the phone DID say Dankern village, right?' Chihiro thought to herself, walking around the old village she had just arrived at. Ever since that strange girl had called Chi and told her there was a way to bring her father back, Chihiro had rushed over to Dankern as fast as she could. And she had made great time too. It had only been a day since she had left the order and Chi was pretty sure no one knew she was gone yet. Good. After all, Chi was suppose to go to the village ALONE.
"Wouldn't you like to see your daddy again?"
Chihiro clenched the seem of her pant leg as she thought back to the phone call from earlier. Remembering back on the conversation she had with the strange girl, Chi could feel herself starting to feel light-headed,
"Meet me in Dankern village. And come ALONE."
Chihiro looked around to make sure no one was following her. Chi let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness...there was no one there. The only people in Dankern village were her and its townsfolk. Chihiro waited a few more minutes before she began her search for the girl again. She had to find that girl. She HAD to. It was her only chance she had to see her father again. As the teen searched the crowd, she still could not find a girl that could be the one she talked to on the phone. The blonde froze and clenched her hand into a fist, worrying that maybe that call from earlier was all just a cruel prank. When Chi thought about it, there was only one person who was said to be able to bring the dead back to life. Allen had explained the whole thing to her when she first came to stay at the order. The only person who could do such a thing, is the Millennium Earl...and he was the Black orders mortal enemy. Chihiro suddenly felt a lump form in her throat,
"My master can bring the dead back to life."
...No. The girl's so called "master"...it couldn't be. It couldn't be the Earl. Chihiro suddenly felt as if she would be sick. She didn't think at all. Just knowing that there was possibly some WAY to bring her father back...it made her so happy that she just grabbed her things and rushed to Dankern as fast as she could, totally ignorant of any danger that could come of her actions. She hadn't even considered that maybe...
"Hello~" A voice greeted from behind Chi. The teen turned around and blinked,
"...Are you...?"
A young girl with spiky purple hair and blue eyes stood before Chihiro, smiling politely. The girl looked like a middle schooler and her attire was quite Gothic looking...not only that but she was holding an...umbrella that seemed to have a pumpkin on the end. Yes, Chihiro wasn't seeing things. This girl looked...very unique, that was for sure.
The young girl before Chi grinned and pointed the umbrella she was holding at her, "You're Chihiro, right? Nice to meet ya." The girl suddenly blew a bubble and popped it, "I'm Road Kamelot. I am from the clan of Noah. Its a pleasure to meet you." Chihiro stood frozen for a second, a little confused as to what was going on. Then Chi regained her composure and smiled back at the girl now known as 'Road',
"Nice to meet you too..."
"Sorry I was late. I had to meet up with some guys before hand."
Chihiro faked a small laugh and shook her head, "No, its okay..." Chihiro looked down at the girl. She was pretty adorable. Plus she seemed fairly friendly too. Maybe this whole thing wasn't a prank after all. And this girl, as nice as she seemed, just couldn't be in cahoots with the Earl...right? But then again, something still bugged Chihiro. Even when the girl called, she knew her name. And she knew about her father. How had Road found out all this? Had she been there at the scene unnoticed the day her father was killed? Oh well. It didn't matter. Just like before, there was only one thing Chi was thinking about now: Bringing her father back to life.
Chihiro looked down as she could feel some anxiety start to build up within her, "um..." The grin on Road's face widened,
"...Something wrong?"
Chihiro wondered if she should just come out and ask "Can you bring my father back now?" Perhaps asking that right away would be rude...but still. She wanted to see him. She wanted to see her father so bad that it hurt. To just be able to run to him and have him HOLD her again as he always use to...just...one more time. She wanted to see that happy, kind smile just once more...and she was willing to do or sacrifice anything to accomplish that. However, there is one matter Chi had to address before she asked about her father. Chihiro rubbed the back of her neck and smiled nervously,
"Before we go to whenever we're gonna go, I have to know...who exactly is this 'master' of yours that you spoke about over the phone?" Road didn't answer. Chihiro frowned, noticing the creepy grin on Road's face widening, "Hey...Answer me, please." Road covered her mouth and began to laugh. What...? What the hell was wrong with this child? She wouldn't answer her...and she was laughing now...why...? Chihiro averted her eyes out of feeling awkward and suddenly noticed that she and Road were surrounded. All of the townsfolk who had seemed to just be minding their own business a moment ago now stood around the two girls, grinning just as Road was. Chihiro began to back away as she could see the townsfolk were starting to move closer towards her,
"W-What the...?" Chi looked over to Road in terror, "D-Don't just stand there! HELP ME! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE-"
"You're going to be able to see your father just like I said." Road took her hands away from her mouth and jumped onto the roof of the very building Chi was leaning against in fear. Road smiled down at Chi and licked her lips, devilishly, "All's you have to do to see your father again...is to just hold still."
"...WHAT?" Chi looked up at Road in question as the young girl jumped off the roof of the building, back onto the ground. Road smiled and pointed at the surrounding townsfolk. Chihiro looked around to now see all of the people were becoming deformed as if something was trying to come out of their bodies. And then, a million shadows shot out of all them all. Those very shadows now floated above Chi. They were monsters...and worst of all. Chi knew these monsters. They were the same monsters that had shot her father the day he died. Akuma. All level one akuma floated overhead. Seeing those akuma again made Chihiro remember everything about that day her father died and as a result, she collapsed to the ground.
"Do you want to see him again? Your father?"
Chi's eyes began to water, "...W-Whats going on here?"
Walking over to the distressed girl, Road bent down and lifted Chi's head up with a thumb, "You remember what your father had with him the day those akuma attacked you guys?" Chihiro pondered for a moment...what her father had the day he died. The reason the akuma had attacked him in the first place...Yes. Now she remembered. He had innocence he had claimed to have stolen from the order. Chi nodded at Road,
"He had...innocence." Road smiled cutely and lifted up a finger in protest,
"Yes. But do you know WHY he stole it from the Order in the first place?" Now that Chi thought about it...she never did learn WHY her father did what he did. It was because of the innocence those akuma attacked and killed him, right? He just stood out in front of the akuma and held the innocence out like it was nothing but he had to know those akuma would want it. And if that were true, he had to also know that if he revealed to the akuma that he was carrying innocence with him, then he would be attacked as a result.
Chihiro began to breath heavily, flashing back to that day. Those memories made her want to throw up...but maybe, even if she did throw up right then and there, the pain of those memories wouldn't go away. Road leaned in closer to Chi and rose her eye brows as the corners of her lips curled upward,
"Your father stole that innocence from the order for YOU."
"...!" The blonde teen felt her heart stop. Road went on,
"Kyonshi stole it, knowing you all would be attacked by akuma. And in case you didn't know, that's part of what akuma are for. They search out innocence then bring it back to the Earl. However, if a HUMAN has innocence, the akuma kills them and steals that innocence away from them. Your father knew all this and yet, even though he knew he'd be attacked, he wasn't afraid. Wanna know WHY?" Chihiro clenched both of her shoulders. Road stuck her tongue out at Chi, "Because, he was hoping you'd activate your innocence before those akuma ended up killing him. See, when a person is an accommodater, they usually can't activate that innocence for the first time unless they're put under a stressful situation or if they are forced to. He figured since you all would be in danger of those akuma, you'd get scared, activate the innocence, and save him. But, it looks like that didn't happen." Road stood up and looked to the side, faking a sad frown.
Tears streamed down Chi's face as she pictured her father's dying face in her mind...She remembered something. When Kyonshi was thrown into the air after being shot...as he turned to dust, he was crying.
"He figured since you all would be in danger of those akuma, you'd get scared, activate the innocence, and save him. But it looks like that didn't happen."
Chihiro covered her mouth as she gasped. Road looked back down and let out a chuckle. Seeing that this was her chance to mess with Chi's mind some more, Road bent back down and looked Chihiro straight in the eyes with an insane expression,
"You know, now that I think about it. His death is all YOUR fault."
"...?" Chihiro's face went extremely white. Road continued on,
"You could have saved him. If only you had activated your innocence like he had hoped you would. Listen girly," Road grabbed Chi by the neck, stood up, and slammed her against the wall of the building, "You ARE an accommodater, like it or not. That much is true."
Chihiro looked down from being strangled by Road and choked out a few words, "H-How could you know I'm a-"
"It doesn't matter. You are and that's whats important. The whole Black order, The Earl, the members of the Clan of Noah and even the akuma...we all know you're an accommodater. Which is why..." Road snapped her fingers and the akuma behind her pointed their guns at Chihiro. Road smiled darkly, "I have to kill you."Road dropped Chi back onto the ground, "Now, be a good girl and just sit there while we get this over with." Road turned to move out of the way so the akuma could fire but turned around, "Oh. One more thing..."
"...?" Chihiro looked to Road who gave her the finger,
"I really hate bratty girls like you. And since I was having so much fun screwing with your head, I have one more thing to say before they kill you." Road reached into her pocket, pulled out a photo and threw it at Chihiro. The sixteen year old held the photo in her trembling hands. She nearly got sick at the picture. It was a photo of her father...standing in a field. The photo was covered in blood and ripped in several places. Chi looked up from the pic back to Road. She turned so that her back was facing Chi. Her lips curled upward as she walked away from Chi,
"...You're father died because of you. He seemed like such a good man, too. Always taking such good care of his precious baby girl. He always protected you and saved you when you needed rescuing... But sadly, the one time he needed YOU to rescue HIM...you couldn't do it. Some daughter you are." Road looked back and pointed the umbrella at Chi again, "It should have been YOU. " Chihiro felt her heart shatter like glass at the child's words. But the fun wasn't over yet, "It's all YOUR FAULT. You're precious daddy is dead. ALL BECAUSE OF YOU. " No...those words were all like knifes stabbing into Chi's chest. She felt as if she could die right there. All because of her...everything that had happened, not just to her father but to Allen and the others...everything, from the akuma attack to her father's death; it was all HER FAULT. She had caused so much trouble for Allen and the others...and she couldn't even save her father when he was counting on her. Road was right...it should have been her instead of Kyonshi...It should have been HER who died...
Chihiro grabbed her head, shaking furiously, and screamed as loud as she could, "NO! STOP ITTTT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Road watched Chi cry out and sob with a poker face. The Noah put a finger into an ear and groaned,
"Ugh, I really REALLY hate spoiled little brats like her. Lets get this over with." Road lifted up a hand and pointed at Chi, "Kill her." The akuma above moved towards Chi and got ready to fire.
~With Allen, Lenalee, and Lavi at the order, in the mess hall~
"Jeez Allen, haven't you had enough pie?" Lavi asked, examining the tall piles of plates surrounding him on the table. Allen blinked then shook his head and went on to eating the endless amount of pie Jeryy had made for him. Lenalee, who sat beside Allen, laughed at her two friends,
"That's Allen for you." Lavi smiled, shrugging. The red head sighed and continued to watch his exorcist friend stuff his face when he noticed something...Timcanpy was not with Allen like he usually was. Curious, Lavi tapped Allen's shoulder and cocked a brow,
"Yo, where's Tim, Allen?"
Through his chewing, Allen mumbled, "He's with Chihiro in her room." The white haired boy swallowed, "I told him to stay with her in case she needed anything. If she does, he'll just come get me. Tim's sorta suppose to be looking after her in a way..."
Lenalee frowned and looked over at the doorway to see something odd floating into the room, "...Speak of the devil, guys."
Allen looked to where Lenalee was watching to see Timcanpy flying over in a panic, sweat pouring from the small golem. The young exorcist held out a hand in which Tim flew down and landed in. Seeing his golem was exhausted, Allen petted Tim in worry,
"Tim, whats wrong? Does Chi need something?" Tim somehow let out a sigh and flew up again, yanking onto Allen's shirt in the process. The golden golem then began to fly towards the doorway, telling the others to follow. Realizing what Tim wanted them to do, the others ran after Tim and the golem soon led them all down to Chihiro's room. Lavi opened the door and Tim flew into the middle of the room and turned to Allen, again. The boy looked around the room then back to Timcanpy,
"...Timcanpy, where's Chihiro? Where's her stuff?" Allen walked towards his golem with horror in his face. But before Allen got all the way to Tim, the golem opened his mouth wide and projected a picture of his memories from when Chi was on the phone with Road from earlier. The three exorcists watched the memories in complete shock. After the memories finished playing, Tim closed his mouth and flew to the floor where a broken picture frame laid. Feeling sad, Tim rubbed his tiny body against the frame and took it over to Allen.
"...she...she left." Allen said to himself in disbelief, taking the picture frame from Tim. Lenalee and Lavi thought for a moment then Lavi looked up,
"That voice from over the phone...Is it just me or did that sound like Road Kamelot from the Clan of Noah?" Allen looked to Lavi and thought back to the memories Tim played...yes. It was Road now that he really thought it over. The white-haired boy felt everything start to go dark,
"My name is Road Kamelot and I am from the Clan of Noah."
The fifteen year old dropped the picture frame back to the floor and fell backwards. Lenalee looked over to her friend in concern and ran over to him. Cupping one of his cheeks, Lenalee spoke as gently as she could to Allen,
"Allen, are you okay?" He didn't respond. Lavi placed a hand on Allen's shoulder,
"Allennnnnn." Again, he didn't respond. He stood frozen, eyes wide with fear. He remembered back to what Komui had said the day they were sent on the transport mission for Kyonshi and Chi...
"We believe Chihiro could also be an accommodater of innocence. However, we are also under the impression that the Earl has come to the same assumption. Those nightmares Chi has been having are possibly caused by the Earl and are a warning to us at the Order..."
...That day...Allen didn't fully understand what Komui meant. But now...
"And if the Earl DOES believe she is an exorcist, he will more then likely send akuma after her to kill her. He will strike before that girl even has a chance at activating her innocence."
Allen shook the memories away and jolted towards the door at full speed but stopped. Lenalee and Lavi looked to each other and then at their friend, "Allen?"
The boy looked back with a determined and extremely angry expression, "Come on. We have to get to Chihiro" Allen narrowed his eyes and pictured a younger Chi in his mind, "...before its too late."
~Back with Chi and Road~
"Kill her~" Road commanded, pointing at the miserable shell of a girl before her. The akuma moved forward and pointed their weapons down and got ready to fire. Chihiro didn't look up. She didn't even make an attempt to move...What was the point anymore? She should have been the one to die. Just like Road said. It was all her fault. Her father died because she didn't activate her innocence. Allen and the others got hurt too. Maybe the only thing left to do...was to die like her father had.
Road smiled, entertained by the sobbing, motionless Chi on the ground. The child turned back into her Noah form and laughed, "What a sad little girl you are. You can't even take care of yourself and you're sixteen for Gods sake. You really are the most pathetic human being I've ever met. You rely on those around you to do your bidding. You can't do anything for yourself...maybe your daddy spoiled you a little TOO much when he was alive. How sad. And that very reason is why he ended up dying." Road began to play with the umbrella in her hands, "Its probably for the best that we kill you. You would have made a terrible exorcist, anyways." Chi lifted her head up so she could look at Road. The Noah was laughing at her...no, it wasn't just Road now. It was the akuma too. All of them...Road and the Akuma were LAUGHING at her...being laughed at by others...Chi had experienced that far too much in her lifetime. Perhaps that was WHY she depended on her father and Allen. They were the only people who didn't make fun of her. Even so...Road was really right about everything she had said. Chihiro couldn't deny any of that. Road stopped her laughing for a moment and looked at Chi, She only giggled again,
"Awww, look at your face. Makes me wanna cry." Road touched one of her fingers to her cheek and ran it down as if it were a tear drop. The akuma and Road laughed even harder now. Chihiro looked back down, a small, painful smile spreading across her face,
~Flashback~
"Chihiro, you're crying again...did something happen at school?" A younger Kyonshi asked softly, sitting in front of his five year old child who had her head buried into a pillow, crying to herself on a couch.
Looking up from the pillow, Chihiro wiped her eyes and sniffled, "I-I got laughed at again at school today...the other kids...made fun of me when I fell down, daddy..." Chi covered her eyes as she continued to sob. Kyonshi frowned sadly and picked his daughter up.
"Poor baby..." He held onto his child as lovingly as he could, "Shhh, its alright now, Chihiro. Don't worry about those other kids, alright? They aren't worth the effort." Kyonshi put Chi back down and kissed his daughter's cheek. "I've got an idea." Kyonshi held up a finger and winked at Chi, "How about I sing you a lullaby? That always seems to calm you down when you're upset."
Chihiro's eyes immediately lite up. The child jumped up in excitement and grinned widely, "You mean, you'll sing 'Anata ga Koko ni iru Riyuu'?" Chihiro bounced up and down, eagerly. Kyonshi chuckled at his daughter's actions and nodded,
"Of course, darling." Kyonshi picked his daughter up, sat in a rocking chair in the middle of the room, sat Chi on his lap and began to sing. The song was Chihiro's very most favorite and it always seemed to cheer her up after she had been upset or crying. The song itself gave her hope and made her feel happy. Maybe part of that feeling she got from the song was because it was her father that was singing to her but even so, Chi just couldn't stay upset when she heard it. Even her friend Allen seemed to have the same feelings for the song. Chihiro closed her eyes and rested her head against her father's chest as she took in the lyrics of the song. And soon, she began humming along to her father's singing until she fell into a deep sleep.
~End flashback~
Anata ga Koko ni iru Riyuu...it meant "The reason you are here now." Chihiro loved that song so much because it made her feel she was important. That she was born into the world to be with her father. She had a reason to live. But...now...what was her reason for being in the world now? Why even go on living? No one was there for her anymore. No one would hold her anymore. Sure, Allen said he was but he broke all promises he made to her. To be honest, she didn't trust him...the one person she loved so much and trusted was gone now. That one person who gave her that sense of hope by singing that song. Dead. So why not just die too? If she died, she could go to Heaven to be with her father...she had no reason to be "here" on Earth anymore. None at all. Chihiro looked up and braced herself to die. The akuma got closer and their guns were lighting up, ready to shoot.
'...We'll be together again...father...' Chihiro looked up at the sky and smiled...yes. She would see him again. She and her father would be able to be together again...but, something felt...wrong. If she knew she was going to be with her father again, then why did she feel so...miserable? The blonde's smile faded as she looked to the akuma. Her pupils grew very small. She stared at the guns being pointed at her and the akuma who were smiling evilly. Chihiro felt her heart beat speed up and she stared at the guns that would kill her once they fired, 'What's...what's wrong with me...?'
"What are you guys waiting for? KILL HER!" Road shouted, stomping her foot in annoyance. The akuma nodded again and flew closer to her. Now there was no way Chi could escape. Her heart beat was extremely fast now...and she was trembling. Her blood was rushing. And it felt to Chi as if she couldn't breath...why? Why was she SCARED? If she died...if she was killed...she'd go to Heaven...to Heaven, where her father was at...so why...? WHY?
"...NO..."
The reason...
"KILL HER, AKUMA!" Road screamed, happily.
she was here...
"PLEASE DON'T..." Chihiro stood up, and put her hands out in prayer, "DON'T...I BEG YOU!"
...now...
"KILL HERRRRRR!" The akuma let out a laugh and fired...
"Anata ga Koko ni Iru Riyuu..."
"NOOOO- I DON'T WANNA DIE!" Chihiro saw the shots coming at her and put both hands out in front of her, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Road snorted, "YOU CAN'T PROTECT YOURSELF NOW! ITS TOO LA-" All of a sudden, something came out of Chihiro's hands...whatever it was that came out of her, it was sharp. Pointy...like a sword...and it went straight through all the level one akuma. Road dropped the umbrella and opened her mouth, "...W-What the hell?" Road's eyes widened. And then, all of the akuma blew up in one mass explosion. Chi jumped out of the way before the shots could hit her and fell to the ground. The Noah looked at the smoke from the explosion and then went over to Chi, "How the heck did you destroy all those akuma-" ...she stopped. Chihiro sat up, her body shivering in pain. Chi let out an extremely painful groan,
"W-Whats happening to me?" Chihiro opened her eyes and felt like she could scream. From the palm of both of her hands stuck out two long, silver BLADES. Blades as in like the blade of a sword...almost like Mugen...only these...these were actually STICKING OUT from Chihiro's skin. However, even though it looked painful, no blood was coming from where the blades were sticking out. In fact...now that she really calmed down and felt it...her hands didn't hurt at all. But, she felt weird. Her body felt some sort of sensation inside...something she had never felt before. It was...a power. Or something like that. Anyways, it made Chi feel...good. She looked at both of the blades and then looked to Road who was backing away in shock,
"I-Innocence...but HOW? The akuma didn't sense any with you...so when-" The blades from Chi's hand suddenly grew longer and made Chi move on her own. Road held in her breath when suddenly, Chi pointed one of the blades at Road's chest. Chi blinked in confusion,
'How did I...? My body's moving on its own...' The blades grew longer yet again and this time the tip of one of the blades touched Road's skin, threatening to cut her if she made one move. Road's expression turned from shocked into hatred,
"I don't know how you activated your innocence or why the akuma couldn't sense it but this isn't over." Road kicked a foot upward, hitting one of Chi's blades which caused her to fall backwards. Then a door appeared from over by a building. Road picked up her umbrella and ran towards the door, "I'LL BE BACK, CHIHIRO HOSHAKUJI!" Road screamed before going into the door and disappearing. Chihiro sat back up and looked at her hands again. The blades began to receipt back into her hands. From a distance, Chi suddenly heard her name being called. Chihiro stood up and looked back to see Allen, Lenalee, and Lavi running towards her.
"CHIHIRO! ARE YOU OKAY?" Allen screamed, running to his childhood friend and glomping onto her, "Chihiro! Thank God..." Allen broke the hug and smiled as tears rolled down his face, "Chihiro, you're not hurt, are you?"
Chihiro didn't respond...she just stood there, shell-shocked. Trying to take in what had just happened...Right as the akuma had fired, she put her hands out in front of her...and she felt those blades come out of the palms of her hands and somehow made them go straight through ALL the akuma. They blew up and the shots didn't hit her...she had, for the first time, destroyed akuma. Just like Allen and the others did on a daily basis. But how...?
"I don't know how you activated your innocence or why the akuma couldn't sense it but this isn't over."
"Allen..." Chihiro looked to her friend and held up her hands, "I..."
Allen smiled and shook his head, "Chihiro, you don't need to explain. I'm just so glad you're-" Chihiro felt the blades come out of her hands again. The three exorcists took a step back and screamed,
"W-WHOA, WHAT THE CRAP ARE THOSE?" Lavi shouted, staring at the sword-like things coming from Chi.
Lenalee looked to Allen, "Allen, I-I think that Chi activated her innocence!" Allen looked to his friends and then to Chi,
"But when...and how...?" Chihiro then suddenly had a light bulb moment,
"When a person is an accommodater, they usually can't activate that innocence for the first time unless they're put under a stressful situation or if they are forced to."
A stressful situation...Chihiro looked at the blades and held them up,
'I must have been so scared, I just...activated them...but...why NOW?' Tears filled Chi's eyes, 'Why didn't I do this the day father was...? I-I was scared then too...so why did it happen-'
"I'm proud of you. Chihiro."
Chihiro looked up at hearing a voice come from behind. The girl turned back to see...
"F-FATHER?" Chihiro cried, looking at the man who seemed to be Kyonshi standing between two buildings, "FATHER. BUT HOW?" The exorcists exchanged looks. Lavi leaned into to mumble to Allen,
"Hey, whats she talking about? I don't see anyone..." Allen shook his head, sadly,
"She must be hallucinating..."
However, even though they couldn't see him, Chi KNEW that was her father before her. Tears of joy poured from the girl's crimson eyes and she made a move to run towards Kyonshi but he turned to leave,
"I'm so glad...you were finally able to move forward, Chihiro. That was only going to happen if I'm not here with you."
Chi flash backed to that letter again. He had said the same thing in that letter. Chi stepped forward, "Father...please, don't go...please come back." Kyonshi looked back at Chi and smiled, tears also streaming down his face. He laughed in an apologetic manner,
"Forgive me, darling. But I must go now. You have your own life to live. Please...go on living. For me...I want you to live and find happiness. And...it wasn't your fault I died. Don't ever think that again. I chose to die, not because I wanted you to activate your innocence then. This is the path I chose and I'm happy I took it. So please...keep on living, no matter what."
Chihiro dropped to her knees, "Father..." Chi tried to hold back the tears, "...I-I love you..." Kyonshi turned back around. Forcing himself to keep the smile on his face, more tears fell down the man's face,
"I love you too, Chihiro. Daddy will never forget the time he spent with you." Kyonshi turned again to leave but stopped, "I have to go now but I have one last thing to tell you. Chihiro, Anata ga Koko Iru Riyuu...is to be an exorcist and live a happy life. Don't ever give up. Live on. You can do it, Chi. I know you can...Goodbye...my beautiful daughter."
"FATHER-" But before she could say anything else, Kyonshi disappeared. Chihiro drew the blades back into her hands and wiped her eyes. Chi stood and looked up, "...Yes."
Allen placed a hand on Chi's shoulder, "Chihiro...?"
Chihiro looked to her friends and smiled warmly. The teens froze in confusion. Lavi looked to Allen,
"Uh, I thought she was still in despair over her dads death..." Allen shrugged and looked back to Chi. The smile on her face faded, her expression becoming a determined one,
"...I'm gonna keep on living..." Allen and the others eyes widened in surprise. Chi went on, "I'm gonna keep on living because...that's what father would want." Chi looked at her hand and made the blade come out of her hand again, "The reason I'm here now is...to be an exorcist. And I'll do just that." Chi smirked at the others, "I apologize for all the trouble I caused but...I'm okay now. Really."
"Chihiro..." Allen stepped forward, "What exactly happened to you...?" Chihiro smiled again and hugged Allen,
"I'll explain later. Right now...I just want to go home." Chi broke the hug and stroked Allen's cheek, "...To be with my new family."
"...C-Chihiro..." Allen mumbled, his eyes beginning to water. He sniffled and wiped his eyes, "Okay...lets go. When we get to the order, we gotta show Komui you're innocence...how did you activate it anyway? Were you carrying innocence with you?" Chihiro shrugged,
"I don't know. Guess we'll find that out when we get back. Lets go!" Chihiro laughed and grabbed onto Allen's wrist, "TO THE BLACK ORDER!"
"W-WAHHH, HOLD ON CHIHIRO! S-SLOW DOWNNNNNN...!" Before the boy knew it, Allen was being dragged down the road by Chi at full speed. Lavi and Lenalee looked back at where Chi was looking at before and tlted their heads,
"Well, whatever happened to her before we got her..I'm sure glad it happened."
Lenalee nodded, "Yeah..."The two then heard their names be called from the distance,
"COME ON GUYSSSSSS! HURRY UP!" Chi waved back at Lavi and Lenalee who smiled and ran to catch up with their new comrade.
Anata ga koko ni iru riyuu...
