If you get the chance, you really should! The story is really fantastic and the characters are nicely developed and lovable. The full (true) ending can be done in around ten hours so it's not a huge commitment. I heard it's also on sale right now on Steam.
Not that I'm affiliated or anything. I just haven't been moved this much by a game's story in a long time.
