I'm really proud of this! I became super lazy with the background, though. It doesn't have any depth and looks really flat D: Oh well, that's as good as it's gonna get for now. Just pay attention to the arch XD
I should paint more often! It's a bit tedious but really fun and relaxing.

Oh wow, it looked like a photo in the thumbnail! Incredibly well picked values and colors in this!! You should definitely be proud!
Painting landscapes and creating depth is tricky, and I am still trying to figure it out x.x Things seem to get less detailed as it fades into the distance in real life so once you discover the trick of adding just enough detail in the foreground, I think you should be good!

Well, I looked at a lot of references, and then slowly but surely I painted them in. I'll first start with a block of a solid color, then I'll start adding the shadows and highlights.
It starts out really plain and odd-looking at first, but it's worth it in the end if you have the patience!
