Yeah, man. I love it! By the way, do you have any videos of your process or tutorials? I'm trying to get into 3D modeling with Blender, but I'm still at the basics. I'd like to get as good as you someday! Any suggestions or recommendations?

I'm not very a good technician for 3D stuff. But I can advise you to follow the same tuto that I followed to create the topology of my basic guy.
www.blender3d.org/e-shop/produ…
If you want to more basic formation, you can search on the net for good ones on Blender. The one I follow was french so I don't think it will suit you.
This is basically how I learn Blender, following this formation. 35 hours of classes with exercice. A mouth to do the whole thing but it worthed it, after that, I knew Blender and could begin to create 3D images...

Thanks so much, man!! I'm definitely gonna look into this. Haha I'm learning French, but I'm just at the beginning level. I'll follow your advice, 'cause I'm certain it'll help! You rock, dude. I look forward to seeing much more of your work! (Also, thanks for watching me! haha God knows I'm not worthy of it. Hopefully some 3D stuff will show up on my page soon!)

sculpt in zbrush, rendered with cycles?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

albron111 In reply to mrhd [2015-05-22 11:05:02 +0000 UTC]

Exactly. I will try to do it all in Blender now. It will be easier after for the hair, etc...Β

blender is awesome but in the sculpting area zbrush isa lot better or isn't it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

albron111 In reply to mrhd [2015-05-25 14:02:40 +0000 UTC]

Zbrush is totally dedicated to sculpt. So yes, It's better in a way... But Blender sculpting is quite good. Actually, the main problem I have with sculpting in Blender is the move brush that's acting weirdly sometimes...Β

well you handle particle systems like it is nothing so why shouldn't you get great results with the sculpting in blender. may the blend be with you!

The sculpt tools in Blender are great. I think it's just that move/grab brush that behave a bit strangely...

But otherwise, it's really good. More basic than Zbrush, but it'sΒ sometimesΒ better.

Particule system and hair just demand some practice... I still need some. There's still some parts of that tool that I don't quite understand...

The body is sculpted in Zbrush , the clothes are made with Marvelous designer and it's rendered with Blender (Cycles)
