Description
This one's a drawing for the Impact Books contest. It ends really really soon (1st Oct), so I had to ask my sister to help me enter it (they want the image on a CD, which means I gotta mail it, but that would take too long, so my sister's going to do it for me, since she lives in the US).Now that I look at it, it looks kind of dark
Also...it just might, it 'might!' be too explicit XG I knew I should've drawn something more innocent- Waaah!Edit: Sorry! Just wanted to upload a slightly lighter version of it XD

probably not (i never win anything XD) but then again, they still haven't annouced the resutls 
i might, just might, get into the anthology, which will be comprise of the top 145 entries...but that depends on how many people enter. maybe there'll be 150 entries, and in that case i think i stand a chane XD

you know, i think you're right. maybe if i added a bit of pink into the 'glow' it would make the flower more visible. ...but it's to late now, the entry is sent...

ah thanks, the concept was inspired by the picture i'm going to do next (winter one- for yet another contest). my line of thinking was that a winter and a volcano pic would make a nice duo
yeah, and dark colours are pretty hard...i don't think i'll be doing any more dark pics in a while.

i guess each person has their own little niche with colouring, i find that if i draw with dark colours i go much too overboard, like with this one....

Wow... the lines and colors are gorgeous. The flower is a bit hard to see, but once you get used to the colors everything looks really.

hehe, yeah those curls were originally intended to cover up her bossom XD but then i decided to make her into a 'creature' which for me constitutes 'nipple-less and..you know- not bottom bit either' (not that it's not there, just that you can see it, like with a furry person)
