Of course it's a wig. It's cosplay, it makes no sense dye the hair evry time.

I'm assuming even if you dye your hair, such heavy dyeing the entire hair will be bad for it until the hair may die and then drop out from the roots of the head. I wanted to do mine as well to have a purple tip just like WWE's Jeff Hardy, but sadly, I do have a religious discipline not to simply do something like that.
