You, sir, are godly with these weapons. (I'm from iAnti, just so you know.) It's almost scary how realistic these look; when I first saw this on Icarus' account it took me a moment to stop staring!

Heh, I plan to keep in going yes, all the way until I get to the point that you cannot see my models apart from real life.

Then you should get started.
It takes time to learn a 3D program, but keep at it and Im sure you can master it in time.
I have been using this for some time now, and everything is self taught and tutorials.
The only thing that is stopping you, is yourself ^^

I use C4D (Cinema 4D) made by Maxon.
But I see that most others use 3DS Max, but I cannot get my head around 3DS for the life of me.
There are a ton of programs out there, most give out demo's so you can try it out if nothing else. ^^
