Sansa's works out so well because it's all just more of the same. Martin bounces her from one man to another and that's how her character is developed. I hadn't really thought it would work out for other characters, but who knows? I certainly wasn't planning on making a comic all about Sansa but it just hit me one morning rereading AGOT, and the next day I had this.

In fact, she's liked because it's original to find for once a deconstructed Disney princess thrown mercilessly into the real world and have the logical development of people stuck in hostile territory (that is, close to none). I love strong female characters as Arya, Asha, Brienne, the Mormonts and Dany, but I've read them written about a dozen times in various fantasy books. Martin the cliche-killer attacks again.
However, I many times wonder why Sansa gets called stupid for slipping important info ignorantly, and Ned and Robb are cool and certainly not hatred despite committing very similiar stupid mistakes. Ned made the very same mistake that Sansa at age 33. Only Sansa didn't know the Lannisters had thrown Bran through a window.

I know people complain that he's taking too long with this next book, but I waited even longer for A Feast for Crows. We'll read it when we get it.
Dany I'm not particularly interested in, but I want to see some action on the North Wall, and I want to see Arya not be blind. Because she's not.

Thankfully I started reading right around when Feast for Crows came out, so I didn't have to do the torturous waiting game that time around... I have to admit that Dany might be my fav, I mean you don't just choke down a heart and take over like every city without gaining a fangirl or two

PFh, just finished rereading that part. Seriously an entire stallion heart has got to equal, like, 16 quarter-pounders with cheese. I don't even think that would be physically possible to do.
So here's a fun fact that might help explain me.
I'm a huge Lannister fan. They kick ass and take names and then screw everything up. Brilliant. Then I started watching avatar, and here comes this british-sounding fire nation admiral with muttonchop burns and I immediately think "Heh avatar Tywin Lannister". Well what do you know but that Zhao just goes on to kick ass and take names and screw everything up. I can't not see the parallels anymore.

hahaha... well with that many characters in his story there are bound to be parallels to anything you'd like. I need to reread the series before the new one comes out, augh.... my friend stole my copy of the first one though so I need to rassle up another one. That should keep me occupied for a week or two at least, haha. Also will give me an excuse to read the part where whatsisface pours liquid gold on the brother's face, that was fucking awesome.

I've had to buy extra copies of the books: one set for me to read, and one to lend out. So I've always got a nice version on hand.
You've got plenty of time to reread everything at least three times before Martin gets off his old man backside and finishes the next book. Don't tell me he isn't milking this franchise for all he can. Cause that's what I'd do.
