Haha, there are various reasons actually! Not many are worth mentioning so, to make it short, one is because I find fascinating seeing plenty of people doing art within a specific theme. This leds to another one; it makes me feel part of the community by contribuiting, especially one as big as this one. I like leaving my mark in these special ocassions. Remember when I told you I didn't contribute in the farewell community on Miiverse? Sad times; I don't know if I'll ever forget about it... >_<
Thank you! I slowly worked on every little piece of the body trying to get every thing right. The designs of the bosses in the X series are indeed very complex and detailed! When I saw the list a few days ago, most of them weren't even picked. Probably for this reason.
It may not look like it but I'm huge fan of the Mega Man series! The lack of art in my gallery doesn't help, heh. I prefer more the Classic and X universes but I like all of them.
Do you like the X series only or have you played any of the rest? I wonder if you're looking forward to the collection that is about to release soon!
Ah, Slash Beast. Is there something specific that you like about him? I personally find him cool. I found him very intimidating in my childhood, always leaving this boss for last. xP

Ahh okay, that is understandable. I have contributed to a decent amount of group collabs, but I never felt like I did it often enough. Sorry you still feel bad about not contributing to the Miiverse collab. Even though I did contribute, I can't say it was truly anything special what I did, so please don't regret not being a part of it.

Actually I am a fan of many things and even though I am, I haven't drawn fanart related to everything I am a fan of, I usually really admire artwork related to the things that I enjoy, even if I haven't contributed to that fandom itself. ^^ I actually like both series and while I have played only a few games, I am very fond of the franchise. I'm actually a fan of Capcom's work in general. Next to Nintendo and Sega, they are another favorite video game company of mines. I haven't heard about the collection, but I'll be sure to look into it whenever it goes very viral on the internet. (That's how I find about most stuff. Lol Similar to them remaking the Spyro Trilogy!)
As for Slash Beast, besides his design, stage theme, and persona, I can't think of anything else that sticks out that I like about him.

Oh, it was just coincidence that I joined these in succession. My last one would've been two years ago if I don't count them. I didn't participate in any last year.
It's mostly a personal thing. To me it's about the act of having contributed to something, and having something that when I look back I say "Ahh, I was there" remembering the good times. Miiverse was about to close down so, it was a special moment that I couldn't miss.
You're right about that being part in the community still meant a lot though.
Ahh, I appreciate your kind words! I try, because I tend to rush my own works though. I put deadlines myself and sometimes I don't achieve the result I hoped.
Ah, I'm the same. I like a bunch of franchises but, perhaps, by not having ideas or just lack of interest, I don't draw anything about them. I do look for them too.
What games do you like by Capcom? I can't say I follow them. I have fond memories of their Disney games from the NES era (I even bought the collection and Ducktales Remastered), Okami by a bit and, of course, Mega man. But most of their franchises aren't of my interest.
Are you looking forward the Spyro Trilogy? I never played them. I wasn't a Sony gamer back in the PS1 days.
Yeah, that was different compared to previous games were all of them became Mavericks. The tone of the game felt more serious than usual. And this felt a lot more in X5, where you see them losing their minds when encountering them. Very sad.
I agree so much there! Mega Man games have incredible music in general. Do you have some favorite soundtracks? X3, X4 and X5 and X8, personally, have my favorite tunes.
I think many of us felt something like that at one point, heh. While I used to be intimidated by other bosses in other games too, it didn't come near the levels of the Mega Man games, haha. I guess because the battles were fast-paced, especially in the X series.

Rush huh? You could have fooled me because I seriously don't see any "rush" in your art, but maybe that's just how you see it, I usually can tell when someone rushes their art and it wasn't done proficiently enough. It could be you are just a quick and efficient artist.
Well on the top of my head, I am more so of a fan for the tournament fighters that Capcom makes, especially the cross over ones featuring Street Fighter, Megaman and Darkstalker characters. In a way the appeal is similar to what I like a lot about Super Smash Bros. It has been a long time since I last played a newer game of theirs, but the last one I played that I enjoyed was TatsunokoΒ vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars which was a more bigger cross over compared to some of their other ones. I used to main a lot as Roll and her being playable in the game was a pleasant surprise. x3

Actually most of the soundtracks you mentioned I like myself as well, with X4 truly being my personal favorite. I love all the Classic Megaman Music as well! Megaman 2 is usually a fan favorite for many.

Sounds good. I remember some of your drawings but haven't seen them here. And that's a nice idea; I could share my miiverse drawings during that month.
Hm, it could be the impression I get when I move on from one segment of the drawing to another, doing it quickly. To me that's rushing. Unless that's said when you half-do a work?
I also feel that with deadlines so, I understand. This is like an exercise I put myself so I can work my skills in a way I could work with tight schedules.
It's not too exaggerated so everything's under control, heh. With small drawings I put 1 week, with bigger drawings from 15 to 30 days. This within an average time of 2 ~ 6 hrs per day.
Do you like fighting games in general? I'm not into that genre but, I like the 'vs. Capcom' series; may be because of the crossover aspect. I'm terrible at them though. <_<
I played Tatsunoko vs. Capcom! I enjoyed it! I used to pick Volnutt and Roll, those were my mains. It's a shame the overseas version had regular music tracks because the japanese one was character theme based, like in past games.
Great choice! X4 is one of the most nostalgic to me, besides X3. With classic series I put 9 in front. So far It has the best soundtrack for me! 3 and 4 being the most nostalgic. No. 3 and 4 again. xP
