Contest entry for: [link] Rainbow Contest hosted byTools;
35mm Camera
35mm Black and white film
Prismacolor premier color pencils
Fixative
Sunglasses
This is a Colored Black and White Photograph. With my 35mm Camera, i took the pictures in 35mm black and white film. Once they were developed, i then sprayed a light coat of Fixative onto the prints. after i had gotten the correct consistency of fixative, i was then able to color the print.
Time: 3hrs. that included taking the pictures, developing, fixative, and color.
When i first saw this contest and decided to enter, i automatically thought back to my photography class and remembered the one project that was the most fun. It was coloring our prints. This then reminded me of another students work that was an object close to the camera and the background out of focus. The student had then colored the back ground and parts of the object in front. I used my broken sunglasses that had a cool shape, and you could see the reflection and through it. I set it on my BBQ and set the background out of focus.
I had a lot of fun doing this!
Edit: As you may or may not be able to see. I have every color of the rainbow. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Indigo.
