Personality: Laid-back and unshakeable, Pepsi is a horse you could put anyone on the back of and know they would be perfectly fine. He doesn’t mind anything at all. You put his tack on weird? Don’t worry, he will stand perfectly still while you try to pull his noseband out of his nostril. Smacked him in the stomach with the mallet? He’s fine, he will stop straight away to make sure you don’t tumble and let him hug his neck to apologise. He truly is a stellar horse for beginners and will never misstep under them, but he is perhaps a tad too much on the lazy side, preferring a lame almost-trot to actually speeding across the pitch, so he requires a rider with some leg on them to truly shine — that, or some mentos, which he goes absolutely ballistic for.
Pepsi was not the original barn name this horse came in with, but this is a school, not a police station, so ‘ganja’ was absolutely out of the question — he unfortunately still responds to it perfectly. Any student who is caught calling him this name will be mucking out stables for a week.
History: Pepsi was owned by a family with several polo ponies who rode and played recreationally for the most part, with Pepsi being one of the only ones who ever went to competition, where he won some local competitions. Said family has since moved out of the country and offered the academy the three ponies that weren’t moving with them, which is how Crash, Pepsi and VK ended up in the academy.
