Description
"September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in the UK, US and
many other countries worldwide. During this month, help to paint deviantART
gold in the name of raising awareness."
So I made this artwork to show my support. I can't give any financial help
for this cause but at least I can spread the word and make people more
aware about that issue.

There's usually hypocrisy behind this form of compassion because people just talk about support to look nice and they don't actually have any support in their hearts as if what they're talking about is not a real problem, but just some kind of a horror movie they can watch and discuss together with friends while eating popcorn. But something in this character's expression makes me want to cry, as if he's completely hopeless and is begging for help, so it makes me feel that you actually have real support in your heart here. You're an artist and you expressed it in the drawing and I can see how you really feel about this and I personally think it's one of your best drawings because it's not only a beautiful drawing but it also moves the heart.

You know what, without joking at all, I'm crying while writing this and I cried each time I replied to people letting comments on this drawing on FB. Each time, because I really feel touched by this issue. My uncle died from a cancer... a friend of my parents' had a cancer and was fortunately cured, she has sequels though, and this illness really makes me cry because it's such a horrible disease and too many persons die because of it. I wish I could help financially but unfortunately I can't... But at least can spread the word and make people more aware about this problem. (I also cried a lot while drawing this and I can't stop crying right now, it touches me too much I guess and my hands are also shaking...)
I feel touched too that you see what I tried to express here with this drawing, the care I have for this issue, what I tried to express here. I'm glad you saw this and I hope others will see it well and will spread the word, donate, and really do things to make it change and make a better life, a normal life, for these children suffering from cancer.
