Description I don't know if you remember, back in 2011, when I told you in a journal that a local language school commissioned me for this job: make the illustrations for an English textbook the teachers would use with the children of their classes.
Finally, here it is!!
It arrived yesterday and when I saw it... ah, I forgot all the frustrations and the bitter work I went through while I was working on this!! *____* I'm so excited right now that you can't even imagine... my drawings, my full name... printed. I would've NEVER imagined this would happen for real, never!
I just want to share my joy with you all And thanks to all those who supported me!
(now you understand why I was so inactive last year xD The book is of about 80 pages!)

I'm sorry about the low quality of the photos (I hate my camera! >_<) , but I still hope you get an idea of what the book is about!

I'm about to start the illustrations for book 2, coming soon!

It took me way too long for me to finally comment on this... Nevertheless, I just have to congratulate you for having your work recognized and used for this book. I can only imagine tremendous deal of time, effort, and physical and emotional energy you used in order to accomplish this feat, and hopefully, this is the start of something special for you. On top of that, it's for a such a great cause that is bound to help someone else along the way.

This just reminds me of the progress that you've constantly made over the years, really. This isn't something that can happen when one is satisfied with where his/her skills are, and for as long as I've known you, I can recall many instances where you were working on your skills in some way shape or form. It's just a great feeling to see that kind of desire to improve yourself pay off in such a way. I, for one, am very happy for you.

Do keep up the great work! Hopefully, the next book and everything else you do in the future will bring you just as much joy as this one was able to bring!

Thanks a lot! It sure was a hard and bitter work, but eventually the satisfaction I felt was really worth it!
Also, I'm actually very happy for your consideration towards my "artistic path" You've followed me for quite a long time and have been always here to encourage me and to point out that my style and my attitude is changed throughout the years... I guess that's what I should remind myself everytime I'm not satisfied with what I do I may struggle, but eventually there will always be some results, whether big or small

Ahahaha guarda, è capitato tutto davvero per caso! XD Quelli della scuola già mi conoscevano da qualche tempo, e l'anno scorso mi sono rivolta a loro per il tirocinio (studio lingue all'università) insieme ad un amico. Ora, siccome il tedesco dovrebbe essere la mia terza lingua e non riuscivo proprio a farmelo andare a genio, a casa mi ero fatta un quadernino con le definizioni di alcune parole e ci avevo fatto anche dei disegnini per facilitarmi le cose Porto il quaderno al mio amico, lui lo fa vedere ad una delle insegnanti... e da lì è partito tutto Sono rimasti così colpiti che mi hanno chiesto di fare le illustrazioni per il libro che guarda caso stavano preparando proprio in quel periodo! E' stato uno shock Chi se lo sarebbe mai aspettato? *__*
