Whee! More plant spirit sketches!
It's really nice to sit in the bed in the evening and scribble pictures of your characters and their attributes.
Sorry for the heavy watermarking, I have become a little paranoid about things.
I used reference for the second sketch which was more or less a study of a yawning wolf. But the plants on his tongue which are rapidly growing as there is a bit of light is meant to be a funny attribute of the spirit.
EDIT:
From top to the bottom.
1st sketch: I plan to draw Life Skirt [link] again and use a bit more colours in that version.
2nd: I came up with the idea this morning when I looked at the herbs in our garden. Since they grow faster when they have more light, I thought that the energy of the plants even manifests inside of the spirit and grow when they come to daylight. : D
3rd: I wanted to see what it would look like if teh spirit takes a short nap. The plants would grow over him slowly so he actually would have to move all the time not to get covered with them completely yet he wouldn't need to worry about a shelter at night.
4th: A simple portrait of him sitting whilst the plants just move away from his chest. His heart is visible there.
5th: Even a spirit can be curious about its next neighbours in the woods. He is watching an Arachne Cantharellus Cibarius [link] carefully.

I know how it is, a novel is a looong pocess, but your ideas are great, IΒ΄m sure it will turn out that way, well go for it!, you already have reeaders expecting. XP.
Maybe you couls find this usefull, is a simple sotware that lets you structure and keep track of your storylines, chracters, locations, chapters.... I like it.
