Description
"To Todd Mc Caffrey, the Lord of Pern."This book was a commission by Michael K., the chairman of Rustycon as a gift to their Guest of Honour, Todd Mc Caffrey, who is the author of "Dragonheart" and "Dragonriders of Pern".
Since it was a surprise, I had to wait until it got handed to Mr. Caffrey. Apparently the surprise was a big success!
The book is my biggest book-project I have done so far. It's a book completely made from scratch and has hand bound and hand dyed A3 sheets to give it a worn and ancient look, book corners, a full leather cover, a hand-painted glass eye surrounded by modelled Sculpey.
It was truly one exciting project for me and I can't wait to work on the next.
Which one shall it be?

Just FYI, Todd McCaffrey wasn't the author of "Dragonriders of Pern", that was his mother, Anne McCaffrey. Todd's taken up her mantel and has written a few stories with her and on his own for the world. "Dragonheart" is his work though.
Just a McCaffrey fan being nitpicky. This is absolutely lovely though.

The book is lovely. I would like to think an Anne McCaffrey version would be gold, for Ramoth.

I am still during reading Anne Mccaffrey books and didint read those two by Todd but seeing something for Pern makes me happy <3

I love the Dragon Riders of Pern! I'm read all of the ones that were written by his mother(If I remember correctly) I haven't gotten to his just yet... But I love the world...

I think the creator from How to Train Your Dragon got inspiration from this book series. "I still gotta re-read the book series again I heard there's going to be a movie for it within this year or next year not quite sure yet"... If your selling these how much would they be?...

"Big success", I'm sure! It's absolutely gorgeous, and I love the detail and flow of the dragon around the covers. The rustic, old look of the pages are just as lovely. Much, much love, and I'm sure he will enjoy it for a long, long, long time!

This is really gorgeous! Todd McAffrey didn't write the Dragonriders of Pern or create the world though, he took over it after his mother, the original author Anne McAffrey died and they did a few books together while she was still alive.

Ah my. I just need to tell you that I absolutely love the things you create. This book is stunning and one of a kind, and it's not hard to see that you must have put tons of effort into it. I have no idea of how long it must take to create such a thing, and I don't even want to consider what would happen if you messed up on even the slightest part.
