Description
When I painted the first image of the "Crow Eater"I took a short break to quickly scribble this image. I unconditionally needed a shot of his facial anatomy and at least one of his paws.
This image shows the ambivalence of the relationship between the Crow Eater and 'his' crows quite clearly but in a strange way.

After enjoying your galleries (a lot), I chose this to make a favorite of mine. It will remind me of the fun I had looking at your work, and that I ought to revisit to see what you will have done. Thanks very much for sharing.
I also read your note on the state of dA. I have seen what you and the others who commented on; the semi-porn, and blatant exposure that exists, and the hesitant, clumsy efforts of those who have just begun to express themselves. As an older man, I find some of it offensive, and some of it begging for attention. I still, though, find it exhilarating and inspiring. I may have to cull through 100-200 images to find something that impresses and teaches me, but this platform is still the most amazing museum of images that I have found online. Just think of it for what it offers: Millions of artists, from all around the world, offering the best they are capable of for others to look on, and comment on. True, there may be dreck, but where else can you find the opportunity to encourage someone by choosing to favorite a piece of theirs? Where else can you find, by looking at those people's favorites, more work of those who you've never seen before?
It's for you to judge, of course, but, in my opinion, it's very much a democracy, all-inclusive, and it seems to go through cycles of good and bad. As a repository of great art, thought and feeling, it can't, at this time, be beat.

If I was part of a horde of crows that could randomly get crushed-start a rebellion and peck his eyes out of his sockets. As a wonder, if this relationship was formed by a contract (like a "deal")...or a mutual one.
