Description
Master study of The Slave Ship (Slavers Throwing Overboard the Dead and Dying — Typhoon Coming On) by J.M.W. Turner. That would never in a million years fit in the deviation title.I love the strong colors, and how the little ship turned out.

Thank you! That means a lot, as I was really worried that I hadn't really captured the mood at all.

I love the strength that the hands give to the painting.

In the original there are a lot more hands, and I think even a horse, but I was working on a very small scale. It seemed that it would just turn into a confused jumble if I added it all.
