Description
commission for showing his shadowrun character... it's supposed to be some kind of ninja-soldier-assassin-elf... or soanyway, had much fun with this one and moved away from my usual holographic color palette and tried yellow this time!

This is incredible! Yesterday I played Shadowrun for the first time, and the character I chose to make was a ninja elf (who is a hacker) - and I gave her a katana and a revolver XD As soon as I saw this picture it was crazy - its exactly how I imagined my character! This is seriously amazing and it made my day! XD Keep up the amazing work! ^_^

Wow, looks really good! Love the pose.
Never understood why elves are mostly drawn in medieval times, they fit just as well in modern or even futuristic settings.

because they're a fantasy race, i guess!
i mean the "elves" of science fiction stories are usually aliens

Well yeah, I understand that they are part of fantasy genre, but still they do not have to be confined to it. That's my opinion at least.

well, i never spend much thought about it, i rather wonder how their pointy ears are not freezing off during a cold winter

Maybe they don't have any nerves there?

not having nerves does not make anything freeze-proof

Well yeah, they might not feel it, but the ears would still freeze off.
Here is another idea. Elf ears are naturally much colder that their body temperature, so in the cold the ears are not affected as much as, let's say human's.

there's still water within the cells and once it freezes, it crystalizes and those destroy the cells -> same result

The ears are... ah, never mind. I have the perfect explanation. It is one word and that word is "magic". All problems solved.
